Today, we will discuss a condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIHT), which causes excessive pressure in the head. Symptoms include chronic headaches, blurry vision, vomiting, and sometimes obesity. Diagnosis involves eye checkups and MRI scans, revealing subtle details such as increased tears around eye nerves and water around the pituitary gland. IIHT can lead to severe vision loss if left untreated, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial to prevent blindness. CSF Rhinorrhea, characterized by fluid discharge from the nose, can also occur as a result of high intracranial pressure. It is often mistaken for allergies or a common cold. Patients with persistent fluid discharge should consult an ENT or neurologist for diagnosis and treatment, which may involve closing the hole causing the leakage to prevent infections and reduce the risk associated with CSF Rhinorrhea.

Sir I am from Puducherry and now 47 years old 25 years before I took a treatment for benign ICT in Stanley Hospital chennai . I took lasix tablet . KCL Syrub in water for 2 years only. doctor said perfectly cured. But now I have headaches shoulder pain and back neck pain fingers are very stiffed in early morning . And BP 160/90 . In puducherry doctor gave a amlopine m-25 and Dayo OD 250 Tablet . Now BP 100/70 now miled headache comes. Is any problem come again sir or not.

டாக்டர் அயன் இடதுபுறமாக படுத்து தூங்கினால் 2 அல்லது 3 மண் நேரம் கழித்து இடது புறம் கடுமையாக தலைவலி வரும் . உட்கார். கொண்டாலோ அல்லது வலதுபுறமாக படுத்தாலோ தள் 2or3 மண் நேரம் கழித்து சரியாகி விடுகிறது.வலி கடுமை யாக உள்ளது. இது எதனால் டாக்டர்?
