Natalie! Hello you! I just watched this video and as always, loved all of your projects. I have a recipe for a "Royal Plaster" that I would like to share with you and all of your niners. It works so wonderfully when you want a raised stencil. And the glue adds a strength to it that just joint compound alone doesn't have. Hope it helps in future projects. Royal Plaster 1)2 parts premixed joint compound 2)1 part white glue, mix in and stir well 3)to thicken, stir in up to 1 part powdered (90 min. Set time)joint compound, stirring in just a little at a time. Your embossed texture has dried when coolness is gone when touched.

These projects are beautiful. (Will your hoa allow an "outdoor kitchen"? This would translate to: A beautiful "utility base" to house the "appliances". Because a box that is the size of an outdoor kitchen could house your tools in a weatherproof environment. You could build in a smoker/bbq to make it legit - and who doesn't want that? I'm thinking 20ft long? 4ft deep? As tall as they allow? Closed, it would look like a sleek outdoor kitchen set up. Open the doors and Voila, tool storehouse. If you build it with places to set up outdoor umbrellas, you could have shade for working. The Umbrellas, furled, could be stored inside it, too. Just a subversive idea. Something about hoa 's triggers my subversive thinking.)

@@designedtothenines I have seen alot of DIY creators & YT creators that have some of the same issues with HOA restrictions. Their solution was to rent a small storage space that has lighting in electric. They moved all their tools, stash, & supplies to this space. They set a filming & staging space. Just a thought if possible.

Yes... Thank you. I do put up compilation episodes every now and then (actually I have a couple coming up 😉). DIYers do this for a couple reasons. First, you are right, what we do actually takes a lot of stamina and time, so a break to recharge the batteries is necessary to bring continuous quality content. But believe it or not, KZread algorhythm LOVES the compilation videos because it brings watch time to our channel, so they promote them like CRAZY! LOL. My all time biggest performing episodes are almost all compilation videos and they are also the ones that bring in the most subscribers. Crazy, I know! New subscribers get the chance to kind of "binge" on some of our best projects. But I definitely do try to be sensitive to my existing subscriber base and bring new fresh ideas because I love you guys... you are awesome for sticking with me. =) So the next time you see a compilation from me, I would really appreciate it if you hit play (even if you don't watch it), mute it and let it play on another tab and just know you are really hooking me up and I am SUPER grateful for your support. You Rock!!!💕

I have grown strawberries and my advice would be to give them a lot of sunshine and water. I would also say the pot, you have them in, might not be big enough. The strawberry plant likes to vine and spread out. You might even want to put the pot on a plant stand so your dog can't get to it. 🍓Good luck.

Everything is beautiful, including the husband and the dog. Just a tip - I make a lot of door mats with stencils I make on the cricut. Before I put I apply my transfer tape to the vinyl I rub it into a rug. Some fibers come of on the tape and make it much less sticky and easier to remove.

I love the flowerpot, then chess. For strawberries.. They need a shallow pot as their roots area is small. They also need a well drained loamy soil, 40% sand 40% silt & 20% clay. You can be lazy & rough soil, sand then peat the roots can't dry out but they can't sit in water either. Water more frequently but in smaller amounts lol I hope this helps with a side bonus of answering why they are pricey in stores. They will grow in size to give them room (the label should indicate) & you can cheat winter by moving the pots into a protected area & wrapping with string of lights (incandescent bulbs for warmth) then cover the entire thing. (I use boxes to make a fort then tuck in sheets in between the box & plant pots). The HOA will LOVE that) your fruit yields will be better in the 2nd year & the taste will blow you away

Looks like a sponsor is coming? My main piece of advice is to decide what brand you want before you start buying. Several brands have come out with systems which are cordless and share batteries. I have positive impressions of several brands, and there are a lot of good tools in the moderate price range. But my multi tool, I absolutely recommend a multi tool, so versatile, anyway the company has put out a new system and now my battery will be phased out! Battery powered circular saws changed my relationship with cutting wood! They are so much lighter weight, I feel very confident that I can expect a good straight cut. Before I was pretty afraid of circular saws.

They took off and I ended up with 5 pots of strawberries that were delicious! Put in a sunny but sheltered location they love acidic soil. Meaning compost in your soil and mulch on top. They live water bit need to make sure your soil is well drained. Hope that helps!

Your doggo is so sweet. Mine would do the same. Lol. Love the tiles. I was thinking of doing the same with the concrete slabs around my back patio. Chess board style! 😊

Hi Natalee, for your ''She Shed'' I had the same problem, not being able to build one. So what we did, we bought a RV and took the entire interior and redone it as one big room, and now I have a She Shed and nobody can't say anything cause I can have a RV on my land ;)

They don’t allow RVs either. 😕 but I think that’s a great idea for most people and maybe I can figure out a way to park it somewhere else. Because that is a pretty good idea.💕

I loved the pavers. I want to do something like that myself. I don't have a cricket but would use stencils to do it. I LOVE that you show what doesn't work = Bloopers. LOL, I could l make a whole episode of things that didn't go as planned if I did KZread. HAHAHA. I'm a big time rusher of projects as I never seem to have enough time in my day to do things.

Really like the paver idea. Also, new miter saw! I have a Bosch 12" dual bevel sliding compound miter saw. That thing is like my child, I love it so much. Hope you feel the same way about your new toy. I hope the it fares well on your patio under the cover. HOA's can really be a drag.
