The blackops 1 one is pretty cool and terrifying, imagine sitting trapped in a chair while a zombie is punching glass trying to get to you...

I always thought Mason turned into a zombie. And that's why his vision becomes really Yellow and Hazy.
I must admit, I’ve known about the BO1 detail for years. I played a lot of zombies back in the day and often found my self waiting in the menus for my friends to get online and join. Good times.

What was the PC for in the main menu?.. it seemed like you can enter codes for something?

@ecentes107 i wanna say you can put in a code to unlock the "five" map early for zombies without having to beat the campaign first if you played offline, (although it may have been the dead ops arcade mode im not sure) and also you could play an old school text based adventure game called "Zork" which was done by typing in the word 'Zork'. I think so anyway its been like 10+ years.
A buddy and I played a lot of Black Ops Zombies, the zombie behind the glass was one we noticed somewhat early on and it was a really cool detail. I remember sitting on the title screen waiting for him and realizing something was pounding on the glass. When I looked up, I noticed the zombie. Super cool little detail, and I see a lot of people had the same way of finding it that I did. Guess a bunch of us just got stuck waiting for friends sometimes haha
A small detail in Hi-Fi Rush. When Chai is standing around he taps his foot and snaps his fingers in a wide stance. However, if you stand Chai in a corner, his stance is closer together and he taps his other foot's heel instead. He still snaps.

Captain, you seeing this?
I’ve known about the BO1 zombie detail but it’s so nice to see it being mentioned again. Would love a remake of it, or a game dedicated to the zombies mode
I’m honestly a little shocked that people didn’t notice the black ops one zombie Easter egg with the main menu I remember discovering that when I booted up the game at 10 years old and thought it was really cool and always wondered if he will eventually break through

I actually did know about the zombie in BO1. Back all those years when i learned that you could leave the chair, i spent quite some time roaming around the possibilities in that menu and the zombies one 😅
For Black Ops I waited at a midnight release at GameStop, I noticed the zombie and figured out how to escape the chair and found the computer. I think I pour over a 100 hours into the game.
@lovitofeliz2391

not trying to hate or anything but at least for me 100 hours was rookie numbers, i played that game way too much xd
Tbh I remember this detail about 9 or so years ago where Weaver/Hudson (they both interrogate Mason) will turn into a zombie
Regarding the ocelot, since Minecraft’s later updates this now also applies to actual cats as well, and the Iron Golem…for some reason

I always admire the voiceline details, like you'll have to get the actor to do a line in multiple ways and also program your game depending on the situation. and sometimes people won't notice that. As captain says, it's a really really nice touch
Donna Notle was the last name in the credits on that FTF level, Donna Notle being a play on Donna Noble, a Doctor Who character
Man, I remember Bo1. It was the best game from the black ops franchise... I remember getting on with 2 of my best friends that were brothers and surviving up to round 41
The bo1 one is pretty scary lore wise, like imagine ur in a facility, surrounded and probably overrun, no way of getting out
The amount of nostalgia when you when through the black ops 1 menu!!! and I did know about that zombie, but I always thought it was the man banging for help.
As an avid zombies player I knew that the CIA agent behind the glass turns Zombie, but you cannot break out of the restraints in zombies mode because you can then figure out which CIA character was asking the questions.

There's a really cool detail in Dead Space Remake, if you spend some time in the vacuum outside the ishimura your suit will start to freeze, then if you get back inside the ice will slowly start to melt, leaving a layer of water all over your suit, then it will slowly dry too
Cool thing about the Spiderman thing is that it's happening also in the Miles Morales game and some of the side Missions dialogue changes depending if you finished the game or not
Captain Eggcellent always goes into Deep Sea to find new Details & Easter eggs. You're awesome.
I have a feeling a lot of people like me knew about the Black ops 1 zombie detail since I had the Wii version, God that was a chore. But I never noticed that he literally walks away only to come back as a zombie. I thought maybe it was just one of those he fades away things as the menu lights up and then settles down.
4:20 that same doll goes off when you enter the room but before the lights go on. Scared the shit out of me lol
Also for fears of fantom, u can see the main threat (Cara) around the map Ex: When u get done shopping, she can be seen across the street, when she arrives at the house, her car can be seen parked under a street lamp, or when "paranormal things" happen at the house u can see her walking around, (oven turnin on, flowers at door, etc.)
The zombie part in Black ops were creepy the first time you saw it with that music. Happend while I were fixing some snacks while waiting on friends to start their games so we could play some.
I seen that zombies detail while playing back on launch but just watching it again with the zombies music hit me right in the feels
“No Minecraft animals were harmed in the making of this video.” Jokes aside having cats and dogs are a great combination to scare and attack hostile mobs on Minecraft.
If people didn't know the bo1 one I'd be surprised

I knew about ever since I played it not to mention I tried getting out of the chair whenever I switched to zombies
You might already have covered it before, but just in case you have not: in The Last of Us Part 2 there is a very similar detail to the Dead Space and Spider man voice changes. Ellie will sound more tired when talking while crouched than when standing up.
I remember the zombie detail but mostly from the sound of it pounding on the glass, seeing it again was definitely cool. Thanks for the vid!
that Black Ops detail is a pretty cool one, I remember my brother showing off all these cool details and stuff that he found in the menu screen, including that zombie, and the computer console you can find if you exit the chair
The last detail reminds me of the man behind the counter of the item shop in one of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games. He reacts to the different secret skaters.
Now I have a question about that zombie. IS that Weaver? Because he is the one behind the glass interrogating Mason all the time.
@Suckit626

It was Hudson and weaver
Yea I noticed the zombie detail in BO around the same time I noticed that u could leave the chair
A nice detail in Hi-Fi rush that I found is that one of the bosses called Zanzo in his introduction/cutscene is striking poses from anime JoJo's Bizzare Adventures
i noticed the zombie one when i was younger. it really made that little room more immersive tbh
I don't think I did know that black ops detail. Great find!
A cool detail I found was in uncharted 4 when Nathan takes a note in his journal plays an animation of him writhing and and if you zoom in it will show the actual drawing and if it’s next to an other one the other one is shown
Loved that Yakuza one! Looked so good!
Not sure how many other people pointed out the Ready or Not one, but I'm happy an easter egg I recommended got added. Keep up the eggcellent content!
your video's are amazing and it was thanks to this channel(and a friend) that I finally got Hi-Fi rush. I was looking at the tango games snail that you pointed out in your video and while replaying, I found another snail. After beating the first V.A.A.R.T, looking around the room, you can see the tango snail chilling with his hologram. I know that this is small, but when I play games, I now look for easter eggs and small details because of your channel. Amazing content and can most definitely wait for the next upload
Loved to show the BO1 menu to friends coming over to play splitscreen on PS3, still have it to this day
I remember finding out about the BO1 detail and it actually creeped me out the first time
I did notice the Black Ops zombie myself... One of the first things I spotted when loading the game at the time, it really creeped young me out. I remember that I think you can still leave the chair, so one time I left and just hung around for awhile seeing if the zombie would break in. I think their was a little rumour going around that he could, eventually, break through the glass... But he can't, kinda wish he could though... Be a cool little egg or something, or maybe a way one of the zombie maps starts...
The only Call of duty game I’ve played is WW2 and it’s zombies mode was an experience I’d never forget. I played it only recently too. The campaign had me really sunk into the storyline.
Couple of neat details in Marvel's Midnight Suns: The game works on a day system. Putting you into this routine where you wake up, train with your teammates, prep for a mission, go on said mission, head back to the Abby and chill for a bit, then go to bed. Rinse and repeat. With you only ever performing one mission per day. Now, this is typically treated as a fairly arbitrary mechanic. The time you actually take to save the world has no real bearing on the story. But, if you've played a total of 60 in-game "days", your teammates around the Abby will acknowledge that it has been two months. I don't know how many comment on it exactly. But I at least know that both Captain America and Deadpool do. MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE OTHER DETAIL Throughout the game, The Hunter will have several meetings with the E.M.O.K.I.D.S. to try and unearth their lost memories. Giving them flashbacks via some magical delving into their mind. If you gave The Hunter a beard, said beard WILL NOT show up in the magically induced flashbacks. Helping to indicate just how much time has passed between then and now.
bo1 was my second cod i started and i noticed it day 1 remember sitting there when i was 4 playing bo1 and mw2
In hi fi rush when you replay the main story you get to a point where you lose to a mini boss in the 3rd track where you can get unique dialog by beating instead of fighting it normal use your summon to break the armor
I known Black Ops 1 detail for a long time but probably mostly because I played it a lot. It is probably my favourite CoD of all times in both single, and multiplayer.
I absolutely knew about that bo1 fact, i was far too obsessed with the game to not know back then
On the subject of enemies dodging your bullets... It probably doesn't count as a _hidden_ detail, but the developers of Remnant: From The Ashes managed to get the enemy dodge timing ridiculously good, because not only will they dodge your attempts to shoot, they always manage to dodge at the moment that you take your shot. I'd almost think the game was reading my inputs if it weren't for the fact that I'm sure they're dodging _before_ I even click.
@TheSimpleMan454
Жыл бұрын
Interestingly it seems like Remnant's enemies dodge more or less the way players tend to (read: the moment you actively move to face them, if not slightly before) in most FPS games. I have a theory that the player's weapons and/or line of sight has a value assigned that if it crosses a certain angle, it triggers the enemy to evade. I first thought of this when I realized that if I was using a pistol they would only actually dodge if near the center of the screen, but when using a shotgun they could be nearly at my character's shoulder, and if moved the camera even slightly they would go into an evade whether the crosshairs were on them or not.
I knew about the zombie in blacks ops back then, also the "can shoot Resnov and not getting a reset by friendly fire" in the misions after scaping jail because he was *already dead*
I never noticed that that guy in the background changed to a zombie. I played BLOPS 1 ALLLLLOOOOTTT and i swear i never noticed this. very cool!
Damn I’m surprised my boi egg didn’t know about the bo1 zombies detail I remember first seeing that detail when I first got bo1 when it came out. Always made me think that it must be terrifying to possibly be the last human stuck in a chair in a impenetrable room
i noticed the zombies detail when i was REALLY young, like 10 or 12 years old, it scared me back then because i thought it would kill me at the main menu
In Dead Space 2008, in mission 10, 0r 11, where you have to get the marker across the room with the tentacles right before you get the marker, you can see them hiding in the boxes
the name Donna Notle (in the credits of the how to be a better person video) immediatly reminds me of Donna Noble from doctor who
I noticed the bo1 Easter egg because all I basically played was zombies multiplayer wasn't my thing when I was younger so yeah it was a nice thing to see
A neat detail in division 2 or feature: Medics can use there defibrillators on you when you get close.
The zombie trying to break the glass is pretty neat but if you pay attention to the TV screens you can also see cctv footage from inside the Whitehouse during the outbreak as zombies roam the halls
I did know about the Zombie who we can assume is Weaver, I once sat there for like 15 minutes to see if it could bust through the glass
I’ve noticed that BO1 thing when I wondered where the banging was coming from
Yeah, knew about BO1 detail for years, I was a big zombies fan and the first time the menu's interrogator got replaced by a zombie I was genuinely scared for a bit.
Ur awesome keep it up bro
BO 1 sure was special. Even the subtle easter egg leaves a mark of memories.
I noticed the black ops 1 detail basically straight away because as a child i would sit on the menu for hours contemplating if i wanted to play zombies or not lol
Yeah I did find that out when I frist played bo1 zombies
I always wished you were able to break free from the chair after choosing the zombies mode, it wouldn't be much but still cool to see the zombie banging the window up close
thx for the zombie song damn boi loved it
Bo1 zombies such a classic also yes i did know that (not so) hidden detail
I actually remember seeing the zombie in BO1 and thought it was really cool how they added that. Another thing was that you couldn't get out of the chair when you were on the zombies tab.
Yes, I noticed the zombies detail. I did, however, play a lot of zombies.
Captain excellent there is a Modern Warfare 2 Captain Price reference in the new game he says had a muppet like you pass selection
I remember that black ops 1 zombie vividly because I remember for a while there was a conspiracy that you could get out the door next to the window and start playing a secret map.
I did notice the zombie changing places with the guy in Black Ops. I remember getting out of the chair to get a closer look at him, but you never really get to see the details of the zombie.
I love your content
A detail I found in the gulag mission in Og MW is that Roach will speak not through the captions but will speak to Soap and a random soldier.
For more small details in the like a dragon series, recently in the latest release of Ishin, there are 4 fighting styles for the the player to play with. The music the plays for when Ryoma gets into a fight suddenly changes depend on which fighting style you’re using. For example, Wild dancer style has a more playful guitar riff while brawler style is a bit more hard hitting with the drums.
With the BO1 detail about the person in the glass is revealed to be Hudson inside of the campaign missions with him escaping the chair. Knowing that, it would be horrifying to see your friend be turned into a zombie while strapped to a chair.
Jesus, that Black Ops 1 Zombies menu brings back some childhood PTSD. My dad and I would always play COD when he had off from work, and if it was late enough, he'd start Zombies. That theme tune, the lighting, the noises of the zombies....my god, still gives me chills.
Bro,i always be imitating his "Did you know". I don't why ,but i love it❤️✨☄️😂😂😂😂
I knew about the zombies Easter egg in black ops because it was the first thing I noticed when a friend showed it to me for the first time when I was 8 and they never noticed it until I pointed it out to them
When I was 8 I played black ops zombies and the song scared now I listen to it for fun and also I did notice that weaver I think it was him was replaced by a zombie
I've noticed it after the first few times of playing years ago I thought more people would of known
When bo1 came out and I played zombies for the first time, I thought it was the same guy pounding at the window to get away from the zombies 😅
I did notice the zombie behind the glass in BO1 but I did sink over 1000 hours into that game and it still remains my favorite CoD ever.
I did notice that black ops 1 detail back when it was the current cod, but I actually never thought it was a zombie but the same man in a panic due to zombies, my train of thought: selecting zombies causes the man to walk away, perhaps he was confronted by zombies amd managed to barricade himself in that room and instead came back in a panic and that's when he began banging on the glass.
I have know about the black ops 1 way before this video I actually noticed it when I first played it
I played a lot of zombies on BO1 and noticed that pretty quickly.
Love the Yakuza Series 💗
I’ve always loved the zombie in the bo1 menu
I found an interesting detail in Resident Evil Revelations 2, when you get to the Overseer's lab in chapter 4 do not approach the window but aim at her behind the glass and she moves around holding her gun she only shows when she causes the self destruction system to go off. Liker raid mode character.
*Black ops 1 had all the vibes. Zombies just felt so terrifying. I straight couldn't play on Five as a kid cuz I was too scared.*
that old minecraft footage gave me so much nostalgia
before today i knew about that secret bo1 was my favourite cod game but the zombies there were much scarier than nowadays
Hudson being replaced by a Zombie was one of the VERY FIRST things I noticed back when I played on my PS3. I didn’t handle horror things well at all, and I played on a 60 inch TV, so it wasn’t hard to notice when I was too much of a pansy to enter any menus lol
Noticed that in day one, huge zombies fan
yes i played almost nothing but zombies in black ops 1 so i lnew that one, the bread physics were masterful though
In diablo 3, you can possibly find a dungeon that has clickers and runners from the last of us series and I was cool when if first found it but I don't know if you can find it anymore but it was a really cool Easter egg for the diablo series
in b.o 1 when u stand up and use the console/pc behind and type doa u can play dead ops arcade
Donna Notle in the credits is a reference to the doctor who companion donna noble
