I feel like the animation where he shoots Soap is more similar to the way Shephard shot Roach. The way he grabs his arm and reaches his arm around him and lowers is other arm to shoot him in the stomach. It's a more painful area and feels more personal because it looks like he maintains eye contact with soap also similar to the way Shephard did with roach in the old MW2

In Arkham Origins, when Alfred is hurt and Batman has to use the shock gloves to resuscitate him, if you have subtitles on it changes from Batman to Bruce Wayne when he's pleading with Alfred. First subtitle detail I ever noticed. Really reflects his humanity.

4:13 it looks more like shepard's tbh.

In State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition, there's a chance for your character to exclaim "Fatality!" when they perform an execution (using Y) on zombies. This is (hopefully, obviously) a reference to Mortal Kombat.

they’ve also got a terminator reference which is pretty cool. the character will randomly talk about a guy asking for for their boots, their clothes and and their motorcycle. which the character follows by saying they shot him in the head.

I think the lmg reload is a reference to one of the previous reloads where the operator changes the gun instead of the magazine

The "drop the gun reload" is basically the inversion of the standard reload, where in this case, you don't drop the mag, you drop the gun to reload it. Torgue would probably approve, even begrudgingly

5:20 I love subtitle details and easter eggs. You already mentioned the MW2 subtitle recently, but it's my favorite, where Graves' name will go from Blue to Red after a specific line and the same with Shepard later going from Yellow to Red

I think when the character throws the gun down a pulls another one out of nowhere is a reference to reaper’s reload in overwatch

The animation Graves has with Soap is a reference to the one Shepherd has with Roach. Graves and Shepherd turned out to be traitors and both shot the player character the same way.

In the mw2 mission alone everyone shoots you like this when you try to make a takedown without a knife

i think bf42's "same mag" animation is reference to csgo's reloading in which when you extend viewmodel, you can see characters are putting same mag inside gun to reload.

I don't know if you have covered this before but in Modern Warfare II 2022 there's actually a similar subtitle change as in Spider-Man: Miles Morales in the cutscene just before Alone when Grave takes over the base, in the beginning of the cutscene Grave's name is blue but as the confrontation builds his name will become red.

Very small details like the name change on the subtitles add such a huge extra layer of depth to a game. It shows the player that if the devs were willing to do something like that it means they have injected their passion for their projects directly into the code, which in turn makes me appreciate them more.

The subtitle change seems to be getting a lot of attention from developers, Miles Morales and MW2 both did it in different but equally important and significant ways

I have two, in god of war, if you do side missions with Freya instead of Atreus they will say how it’s weird that you’re doing it without Atreus. Also in god of war, if you hit the chime when you were playing atreus he has some funny dialogue

I did each side mission as they came up, notably the first Vanaheim side missions, and the second Alfhein desert missions and I don't recall them saying that. They felt pretty natural for Freya's story arc. Do you know what area that came up in?

@@legitelf0058 Was it the first or second jellyfish? First you can do with Atreus right after returning from the Temple of Light. The second one you can only do after Freya enchants your chisel to open specific doors. I did the first Jelly with Atreus and the second with Freya, but there's probably alternate dialogue for each. Same probably goes for the quests in the Bay of Bounty as well. If I ever start a new game, or if they release a NG+ update, I'll probably do things differently .

I’ve always loved “drop the gun” reloads because it throws you off so much, leaves you sitting there like “what did I just watch”

so i dunno whether these were covered before but in Arkham Knight during the opening in the diner when the officer is ordering his food if you look to the right you can see a missing poster of one of the people Batman caught who was infected with Joker's blood, another one is when using the remote batarang you will see batman controlling it via his gauntlet and final one i noticed is when trying to escape after your 1st meeting with the Penguin, you are pinned by 2 sentry guns and soldiers, there the hallucination of Joker will keep hinting on what gadget to use to get out of that situation.

That weird reload animation where he throws away the gun instead of the spent magazine is a old meme for gun nuts

@Michael Andrei Palon it's like CS GO, you buy a weapon at the start of the match and grenades, perks or melee weapon, the core modes are team deathmatch, strikeout (conquest an objective and reduce enemy points by killing them) or demolition (somebody in your team has a bomb and has to plant it avoiding enemies). The characters are veeeery good, each one with his own ability and personality. The graphics are also impressive, movement and general mechanics are a lot fun. There is also a lore throughout seasons and maybe they will release a story mode, so it's better to play the game now and know about the lore before the story

Actually soap was suppose to die with ghost cause he was the Capt and ghost was the lieutenant (first mission of old MW2) but roach and ghost where sent where they died to shepherd but in this situation this animation is more accurate cause ghost and soap are with each other.

This is pretty obvious and i’m sure ppl already seen it but during the cutscene before the mission ‘Alone’ on MW2, you can see the color of Graves nametag in the subtitles change from blue to red.

I noticed a detail with in the Multi-player for MW2. If u have a P980 equipped when you switch from it to your primary the player will put the safety back on before holsters it.

In Deep Rock Galactic, there was an event where meteors called “smol meteor (change me)” spawned in the map. Ghost ship games changed its name but if you hold your laser pointer on one of the meteor you’ll see that it’s in the catagory of S.M.O.l.

I always love the apex legends details

One neat detail is: In Dead By Daylight one of the survivors perks is called: Any Means Necessary And in a police mission is Need For Speed Hot Pursuit there is a event also Called Any Means Necessary And another thing to do with the survivor is that the lore of the survivor is about racing And Need For Speed is also about racing

Another Cool Detail in Apex Legends is when you are in the loading screen and the maps change, the characters will comment on the map rotation. I’ve only seen Horizon say anything and it was along the lines of “hey dearie, World’s Edge is ready” but a little more interesting idk 🤷‍♂️

The lmg reload looks like it’s from an animation where the guy takes his pistol off the magazine, throws it away, pulls out a new pistol, and begins shooting again after putting the new pistol on the magazine.

In The Looker, if you go behind some boxes near the large light gate, you can find an old help button and if you press it enough it'll give you the definition of insanity

That M60 reload reminds me of the guy reloading his 5-7 airsoft pistol in the exact same way. It was a video from a few years ago.

Another video game detail: when the prequal of cod mw2 released on the start of the mission theres a diolog that the devs removed because they didn't want to spoil the story of mw2 the removed diolog is "What if hes wrong heh god help her god help us all" You can take a look at it in the prequal of mw2 cool detail

The 2042 reloading the LMG by swapping guns is a reference or call back ot Battlefield hardline where one of hte weapons your character will swamp teh gun out.

On warzone 2.0 if you go to the airport in the far left bomb crater on the run way,there is fridge which is a reference to indiana jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull where he hides inside the fridge from the nuke

In the Looker not far from the Hint button there is another "abandoned" hint button in the trash can, which also has some funny things to say.

The graves animation reminds me more of when you find out that Shepard is the bad guy and kills you and ghost

in COD modern warfare when you come eye to eye with graves in that misson it looks more as if he pushes away and not grabs his arm before shooting

i was messing around with the inspects in MW2 2022 and i found out that all the pistols have special inspects for them when they run out of ammo as in no ammo in the mag or no ammo left in the reserve, and these inspects are different from the normal ones, you should check them out captain! also i love the content 😁 edit: i did some more exploring with these inspects and it looks like its not just the pistols that have these but its also the primary weapons that have the cool no ammo inspects

Isn't that MW2 animation at 4:25 just a canned animation any of the Shadow Company soldiers can do against you in that mission? Because I was trying to rush that mission I feel like I saw that animation a number of times before I got the knife, and it was just from random nobody enemies.

3:07 thats what makes the reload unique is the fact it doesn’t make sense. Theres also the magic gun reload, jedi force reload a hand that comes from out of nowhere to hand you a mag reload. Just a few I could remember off the top of my head

I think the reload animation with the lmg is a reference to reaper in Overwatch, once he's out of ammo he throws his guns on the ground and picks up brand new ones from out of his jacket but I would think they would have used this animation in battlefield with duel pistols or a shotgun cause reaper uses duel hellfire shotguns, but idk maybe I'm wrong

I feel it's a pretty obvious detail depending on how you play but characters in god of war ragnarok will comment on kratos and atreus exploring to loot the area rather than staying on the main path.

Idk if you've featured this Easter egg before but during the story mission Ghost Town in Cyberpunk 2077, you can stumble across a man named Nash. He has a rifle called Widow Maker which is a sniper. It's also a tech gun which charges. It's gotta be a very obvious reference to Overwatch, especially since the gun poisons people.

Not sure if you've seen it but when you run with a pistol in mw2 2022, you keep your finger off the trigger like a good shooter!

In sonic frontiers under certain lighting sonic has a subsurface scattering effect on his ears. This effect is when you shine a light through your ears and the light comes out pink and you can see your blood.

I figured it out, Graves isn’t Graves, he’s Mackrov that was on the plane. He was never in the tank when it blew up, he was never trained to drive it. He was just hiding and talking smack acting like he was driving the tank and somehow simultaneously shooting the cannon. Mind blown 🤯
