*Yes, I always went to auctions in inclement weather - because there are usually WAY FEWER people that attend - just the diehards like me and the "regular pickers" (and you and Chris, LOL!) 🤣🤣🤣* *Both of you found wonderful items - and YES, I WOULD HAVE gotten those marbles for that little boy 👦 - how kind and thoughtful of you to give him the black light, too! 😉👏👏👏 And the next time that old curmudgeon tries to distract you, just hold up your palm ✋️ in his face and say, "Oh, please excuse me!" and WALK AWAY FROM HIM so you don't miss items you want to bid on. Isn't he a little stinker, though‼️🙊*

The nuns at school wore those big rosary beads hanging down from the belts of their habits. If we were acting up and heard rosary beads clacking toward us we shaped up fast. Sometimes if they wanted to catch us in the act, they'd hold their rosary beads so we couldn't hear them coming. Now and then I think maybe kids need to hear some rosary beads heading their way to put some fear in them. Ha.

That piece was priceless. You did very well yourself. I loved the story of the marbles. I’d call that pay it forward. I knew you have a good heart. Those tree trunk planters were so cool looking. It’s a good thing they didn’t show the mushrooms or someone else would of been the owners. I always love to see all the wonderful items you n Chris find at the auctions. If I really needed sale items then yes I would go but, I don't know how long I could stay. :) Chris , man you really got some great stuff! I wish I lived closer so I could see all your booths! They look amazing.Chick,.Sweet and wonderful thing you did for that 'lil guy :) We need more people out there to spread kindness like you. I liked your picks too. Got some good stuff. You paid the price for it by fighting the rain. You really love what you do. God Bless you both, Hugs, Rebekah

Just watched your report on a winter auction. The toy of pecking-chickens is a reproduction of folk art from Czekoslovakia. Same for the doll wearing red boots and a blond braid. Thank you for your interesting content!

Know I’am six months late! and probably someone already mentioned this to you before after about 260 comments! There was at least 3 Items from Germany the clock surely, the old bottle is a very old (Middle of 1800) Schnaps- Bottle (Alkohol) from a town not far from my hometown. Ahrweiler (there was this big flood a Year ago). And the little Chicken- toy so funny my grandmother had the very same!Made in Germany also. And as Children we used to play with it! Just want to tell you! Greetings 👋

Many of your viewers mentioned the marble story. I teared up. The other part of your generosity , I think, is that the little boy learned patience. After that long day he got his reward for being patient. That is a difficult lesson to learn even for older folks and you contributed to his growth. Love all the rosaries. I was fortunate enough to get several Bibles from my husband's family and am looking for a rosary now, due to your infuence. Thanks, Yvonne, for teaching us.
