I have a 2003 mini hatchback. Problem is the screen on the odometer says CODE and that’s it can you help me?

04 starts fine but it won’t go over 2k rpms and suddenly turn off and won’t start until couple of hours. I changed the Maf sensor the cam sensor still no fix. Any advice. Car was sitting for 6 months

Is there a way to keep it like that? Because this way when you turn off the car and back on it doesnt still show the temp. Talking about the r53. Thanks.

Nice video. I’ll try that. My question is about an 02 mini S Past few months I’ve had a problem with door locks locking. Either with switch or both key fobs. No sound of actuators. Removed positive and reconnected hours later. All good for 5-6 days. Had to do it again. Twice. This last time it did it within 24 hrs. Have not messed with general module yet. Was thinking on unplugging and replugging. All doors and hatch are closed. Battery checks out. Any ideas on further troubleshooting? Thanks in advance.

I improve my mini with nav and double speedo . But I get a problem. Mileage is not correct , my correct milagre car is 184.000 km and the new unit is 160.000 km. Is possible to correct the new unit for the corrent milage?

On a side note. 2009 Cooper S … disconnected the battery overnight ant the Check Engine Light won’t go off. Engine runs fine. Just trying to smog the darn thing. FYI: The previous owner had one of those Performance OBD2 plug-in modules. Does it need to be reflashed? The module is unplugged.

I have a complicated question when the engine isn't on but the ignition is on my dash works and sound but when I start it the led switch doesn't work or the sound but from the outside my indicators work anyone know what's going on? I’ve noticed with my Mini Cooper it’s got a very very very sensitive heat detection system... Engines get hot in Southern Italy & fans cool them down, i’ve driven my car in 80F conditions. So it’s always hitting red after 10 minutes - my philosophy, as long as the yellow engine warning sign doesn’t come on 🙂 that’s cool. I top up with coolent & and just accept that it’s got sensitive readings. For example, the other day I got the yellow flashing light for just putting air in new tyres... How paranoid should we be about Mini Cooper messages! It’s a car, cars get hot! I’m more concerned being given a mechanics bill for something that doesn’t need fixing. The due diligence in me says get a new thermostat!!! I’d like to see the needle stay in the middle not hit red...but it still drives good, the fan comes on after every journey and cools the engine... I’m worried & I’m not worried...😂 If it was the YELLOW warning engine light i’d stop driving it immediately- it’s just a heat needle that also slowly floats back to normal with coolent - so i’ve diagnosed it’s a coolent issue and no need to waste money !!! By the way, I love this Mini but it’s got lots of problems !!! Many of which i’ve solved. Drives good...but my Ford KA had no problems in London, just extreme issuing of fraudulent parking penalties!!! Happy Motoring 😂❤️

Hello, I own 2005 Mini Cooper s convertible, I have upgraded the supercharger pulley to Cravenspeed 19% , a M7 4% reduction pulley , performance cam, mccloud clutch kit will also be upgrading its flywheel, colder iridium spark plugs, will be upgrading to catback exhaust haven’t chosen which brand yet. My question is dealing with upgrading the injectors, I’m considering 550 would like to know recommended brand and if this size would be the best fitment? Also advice on Flashing or chip upgrading what is recommended or contraindicated. Thanks

Good morning I have an R52 2004 past july. Every time I start it I get 50 beeps then a long one. The car works perfectly on all aspects except these 50 beeps (for a minute) Would you have an idea of what could cause this? many many thanks for your help cheers

I believe the bulb itself will need to be replaced. In the r50 it is a dual hi/low beam bulb but one function can stop working on its own. Also try a fuse first

Mini cooper was running. Lights were left on and battery died. Had a jump and worked fine. The next day car did not turn over even with a jump. Suggestion?

There is a small button on the left turn signal stalk and as you push that it scrolls through the different options on the screen on the tachometer, including average miles per gallon, temperature, speed, fuel consumption Etc

@@ethanjamesknox411 you mean the button is broken or fallen out? As far as I know that is the only way to change the display, if the button is missing maybe a paper clip inserted where the button used to be until you get it to the setting you will most likely use the most

Lights shifter on left side / turns indicator shifter? - has little button on the top, press and you change data (ave speed, actual, actual fuel consump., ave fuel consump etc.).

I am facing the same problem with the stage 1 fan not working, did you guys find a solution?

It’s your Fan resistor that’s burnt out. Mine was as well but moved the radiator fan assembly forward removed the resistor and replaced the resistor and now my low speed is working perfectly fine. The main thing is if your fan has one big connector your resistor is replaceable if your fan has two connectors then the relay is built into your fan with the resistor it might be very difficult. The fan connector is located right beside the hood latch on the driver side.

With your Mini locked by using the remote control, open your Mini with the physical key in the door, Alarm light will flash rapidly indicating you have to plug your key in to cancel the Alarm going off, if you don’t it will go off
