HICAS Delete Tutorial

Tutorial on how to remove the full HICAS system from Nissan chassis. I try to explain everything and show how to do it rather than miss steps like other people. I wanted to keep it but under hard accelerations I can feel the rear moving around and I would rather it be in a fixed position. Although, I understand and have used the system when driving into corners!

No problem!!! I love the Hicas but under more HP it starts to act up

I used two sockets and c clamp
Don’t forget to snip the white and green striped wire on the hicas ecu

@@Nismology33 yes, it will cut the hicas light off. I’ll take a picture of the exact wire i cut and send it to you

@@TikiTechGaming ahh...in the trunk...under the shelf..its the small box. I googled R33 hicas ECU...took me right to it. Yea, its a fix for the light and system all together just to cut that wire

i need all the smoke..lol i was going to ask you about this next! did you have to cap off any lines? of just a plug and play application of just the hardware. Also, any warning lights on the dash since removed?

The R33 and 34 are electronically controlled Hicas, whereas r32 are hydraulically. So just remove electrical connectors and I'm going to remove the Hicas bulb in the dash.

@@Nismology33 Ahh ok. i have a tuned haltech ECU installed. not to sure if that can control hicas But, i always thought for our 33's we had to cap off some hydraulic lines...good video i just ordered my kit today

So, did you end up cutting the green/white wire on your R33 or took out the bulb for the hicas light to shut off?

@@Nismology33 ahh ok. I think i just took the bulb out a while ago. I did the delete and dont see a hicas light no more. Was a while ago when i just took it out (guess i forgot) good video. Had to press them bushings out was the hard part. And today i seen a front axle boot torn smh..so ill be watching your other DIY on that one. Thanks
