I agree, but the truth is that those high HP EVO’s have ridiculously tricky clutches. There is a lot of room for error starting from a dig with those weird ass high horsepower clutches. This is from experience my best friend has a 600whp plus Evo and the clutch is a nightmare

i don't know if you found out the answer but it's a bitch way to race so most times if you see someone jump your reaction is to jump well when his hands went up and he left it isn't considered "chase is a race" until that other car moves, if he rolls just a little you have to run it, like i said pussy way to race

Heads up would've been a better race, but they agreed to certain rules. Evo shouldn't have budged if it wasn't a good snap, either that or disagree to chase is a race. We're talking street racing folks, not the dragstrip. I think it would've been a good run though. Rematch?

Haha. Right. When you are only racing for 50 bucks, yeah just race. But when you are racing for a few grand, you want to make sure what you are racing is within your limits. Nitrous is a legitimate game changer. Shit makes a big difference and it isn't worth losing that money.

He more than likey had boost built up and and move a little trying to reset after dude jumped cause he didn't launch the car at all. I think chase is a race is bullshit to being with but in this case there is no way that rule should have been honored.

Real street racing has always been heads up. If you loose you come back with something faster to race that car

Civic won!! if you look closely at 3:29 when the Evo launches there is a launch cut when he comes off the line compared to when the civic is being launched at 3:07 it jumps way ahead smoothly.

Evo had it in the bag. First line up was clean. The honda didnt react in time but second run wasnt too good. Re match should show whos really faster.

It's stupid that a chase is considered a race. In Track (the closest sport to drag racing), false starting either resets the race or gets you disqualified. It should be the same in drag racing, especially if there's money on the line.
