We, in the Global South, who are mostly poco nations, have always understood what’s at the core of all these playing out. Look at West Asia, North Africa, and Africa at large, where the colonial and imperial projects are most boldly playing out. In other spaces in the global south either the American led western hegemony have client states with their puppets in power or they are facing another kind of resistance win the economic spaces, BRICS perhaps is one the symptoms of such resistances.
