I think it’s crazy Slicer is cEDH viable now, and having piloted him at that level he’s awesome!

yeeeea, real meta breaker, one of the few cards ive seen draw salt from cedh players. Loved playing the first few weeks after release when most players hadn't seen him yet and were shocked to get commander damage lethal on turn 3

What are some of the equipment/auras that you would use on Slicer in cEDH? Trying to decide if I want to build casual or cEDH Slicer.

@@hiddenleaf414 I started casual, and slicer is not fun at all. He's either winning in a blowout or doing nothing. In cedh at least people are prepared for how gross it gets

Slicer was always cEDH viable. People just had to realize what they were looking at. I built a cEDH version before it had been released, lol. It feels like the multiplayer equivalent of Dargo/Jeska, which is absolutely oppressive in 1v1 if built right. It's nice that Slicer pushed red voltron aggro into being multiplayer cEDH viable. Previously it had only been Godo to do this, which largely feels like a combo deck rather than an aggro one. Slicer truly feels like aggro in cEDH

I got really excited when Goad became an evergreen mechanic. I like the design of Slicer and Kharn. It's like if Timmy wanted to play control. I've been playing on and off since Tempest and I appreciate the rules breakdown.

Funny thing is its actually a decent beginner strat because the plan is straightforward. But has a high ceiling to play stax disruption at the big tables

Watched this when it dropped, then got Slicer from a random pack after a draft two weeks later. This video was the reason I was excited for the pull rather than being annoyed at the card. Thanks man

Good stuff! I just built this guy last week. I slept on these transformer cards initially.

Slicer is like mono-red Tangarth...though maybe better?? Either way I'm here for it, just wish I could get a universes within version.

That's it, I have to build Slicer now.

I love Assault Suit, it feels underrated in voltron tech. I use it in Zangief and Thrunn Breaker of Silence since they become Indestructible on opponents turns when they control them :P

Kediss only spreds Slicer's combat damage during your turn, since when opponents swing Slicer they have control of him.

And it's not even commander damage so it's kinda useless in this deck

Came here to say that. You said whenever he touches one of your opponents it drains the table but this is only true on your turn. All of the other information presented was great. Mattthecricketbat the damage Kedis deals to the other players not being attacked never counts as commander damage but can still be relevant to go against an ad naus player or if you have grafted exoskeleton or something like that

Some guy did not at all let us know how brutal this commander was and stomped our casual pod. The next game he was focused to the max and rightfully so.

Yeah, it was really surprising how brutal this guy was. Thankfully, we had removal, but it was a near thing.

Kediss is good and I run him in slicer, but he says “commander creature you control” if your opponent has slicer you don’t control slicer at the moment. Kediss only works when you got slicer.

Just played in a small cEDH tournament in my LGS with this guy and won 3 out of the 4 pods I was in. I can assure you that Slicer is a beast.

I built a breya deck out if parts from the brothers war commander deck and I put 3 transformers in the deck. Megatron, stars starscream and Soundwave. I thought they were a good fit. The deck is slow and it could probably use work but I like it.

Does kediss emberclaw trigger everytime an opponent hits another opponent with your commander? Do you technically “control” your commander when someone else has him?

This is a pretty cool card, it would be pretty interesting to play, but I still am refusing to buy any transformers crap and think it should've just become it's own card game. A cousin to magic or something. Like Hasbro, keep your greedy mits out of the game I love (may be used to love soon).
