14:13 Cleo was the only Monster Ball doll I got. They're $40 here in Canada, but for me she is totally worth it. Her clothes are gorgeous - the dress under the black wrap thing is beautiful, AND a separate piece. Her hair is also really soft and her shoes are to-die-for. She just seems a little elevated than the others to me. Great video. Thank you for your honesty and humor. 😄😄😄

The Disney princess “100” dolls look like basic Playline dolls from our childhood years in the 90s. I cannot 🤦‍♀️. The BFMC collection has been “canceled” for such a short time, I wonder if it was just all a ploy to drum up new excitement for them during the Barbie movie hubbub. I’m glad to see them return and hope to see them continue to be articulated and not cost the Sun and the moon.

False scarcity marketing is alive and well in the doll community.

I got the purple-eyed Color and Create Rainbow High doll. First I stole the brown eyes out of a budget Sheryl Meyer doll and did an eye swap, then I dyed the Color and Create's hair brown with Rit dye. I tried dyeing the "sparkle" t-shirt she was wearing, but it was a weird fabric and I ended up ruining it. I didn't go near those markers and gave those away. I love my custom doll, but she was thirty bucks and didn't even come with a stand, so one is enough for me.

I got the Bratz Retro swing chair for my Integrity dolls and it's awesome. The news of Silkstone Barbie coming back seems exciting. Hopefully they use the original body.

Thank you so much for this video. Absolutely agree about Monster High. I like them especially Cleo. But still did not buy any to this day because there is always another doll I prefer more. I started collecting Zombaes forever. Those are much smaller and with plastic hair but so much fun to swap their hair and accessories 😅. I am sorry if there will be no more Ariel live merch. I know how much you like .xx

I too struggle to buy the G3 MH. i really like Lagoona, but something is just BLAH about them, and i rush to buy a mystery mini verse ball with a clearanced RH doll instead. 😂 I hope they restock cowboy barbie and i want cowboy ken! Weird barbie seems ok...i can make my own. 😂

2:24 *"These are the most Hasbro a$$ looking dolls I've ever seen."* To be fair most of the $25 Hasbro style dolls (that were sold at Target) had rooted eyelashes, elbow, wrist and knee articulation. Mattel gives use none of those things, and chargers an extra $25 "for reasons" , 🤔🤔 but like you said in your video you're *Still* going to pick up the Tiana doll. Most other KZreadrs making videos about Mattel's wild price points say the same, so Mattel will continue to Mattel. 🤑🤑

Totally agree. Same with the Barbie movie dolls: everyone complained about the high prices of the "collector" line, yet everyone is afraid to miss out, so Mattel doesn't seem to have a hard time selling them at all. I expect the "100 years" Disney girls to sell super easily too, whatever their price and whatever they look like, just because that number sounds special, and for many, it means future value, either for resale or to pass on to grand kids.

I don’t get why they must always mold on clothes to the reveal Barbie’s.. they are so pretty but it’s hard to find clothes that fully cover the printed clothes so a body swap is usually the move and I just don’t know if they are worth $25 for a pretty head 😂 actually I know they aren’t.. and I’m sad we need more articulated pretty Barbie’s 😢

I do remember reading that all the Barbie movie dolls are pink label so there’s no limit to how many there gonna produce in the long run. I can’t imagine that Mattel isn’t gonna just keep producing them as long as ppl want to buy them. I’m super bummed that live action mermaid merch is done being produced 😭😭😭😭 I thought we’d at least get it through Christmas

I really like when Jaks Pacific releases dolls. I think they get so much right and at a fair price for what's included. I do not like the new Disney dolls. I agree with you, they are too expensive for a doll with no articulation and a fairly simple outfit. I think this is what I find most frustrating about doll collecting. Not having the price match the quality. As far as the Disney store dolls, I have collected their play line dolls and I think they are very well done. I will be getting the new princess line. I love the second outfits and the accessories and pals that are included. As for the rumors about Ariel, I watched a discussion panel on how kids are reacting to the new live action Ariel and that they are not wanting the dolls because they do not look like the Ariel that they are familiar with from the animated movie. Kids just want Ariel to look like the Ariel. While adults may be happy with the diversity of the new Ariel, kids are not. Parents are seeing their kids wanting the traditional looking dolls. For Rainbow High, I did get Jade and took off the weird green plastic lightning bolt thingy and her dress underneath is fantastic. It has different metal charms in the shapes of stars and moons etc. adorable. Also her black lipstick looks amazing. You should definitely get her. Finally, silk stone fashion Barbies, oh please let it be true.

I bought the new Disney Store Ariel doll (in Mexico) and her head was very loose. Also the tail is not fitted at the bottom so it just looks weird. A little disappointed, especially when she cost around 50 bucks.

Rainbow High had me by my neck for the longest but I don’t know what’s happened - I’m just not feeling it ALL ALL anymore. It’s becoming repetitive and we are getting less and paying the same amount (I think I’ve seen this someone before….hmmmmm….Mattel? Lol!) and I know I’ll grab the runway line but then I think I’m out. And RIGHT ON TIME for the Fashion Model Silkstones return (my bank account is already screaming at just the thought).

I am losing interest in RH as well. I'm getting into My Little Pony g1 now. I'm going to wait till the Barbie movie hype downs the prices are too high right now. Hopefully but I doubt it The Silkstones have the quality of the 2000-2015 dolls.

Yeah I was underwhelmed by the collector Disney dolls. They’re princesses, give us big ole poofy ball gowns with more interesting designs please! (And don’t just slap a big weird looking bow on Cinderella every two minutes please, that bow is just so odd looking 😅) Especially Cinderella who is the epitome of ballgowns (also why is her ball gown shorted then Tiana’s? Yeah, yeah, the glass slippers but if this is the Cinderella doll to celebrate 100 years of Disney, ball gown to the tenth power please.)

Oh that’s true. I like the second outfits but if you’re a big Disney park person the treats were probably fun to collect.

I have Project Rainbow Amaya and she is so ethereal and majestic ✨️ I recommend her and I'm hoping the silkstone Barbie isnt expensive because I've been on a Barbie fever lately and have been buying vintage dolls so fingers crossed🤞
