I've been studying, playing, and coaching for 15 years. I even coached semi-pro in Germany. I have been to so many different coaching clinics, including NIke's in Vegas; I have researched through videos, listening, film, video, the works on the game. This video is the best breakdown I've seen of the why and how for attacking off the dribble. PLEASE keep putting out bball content. Your stuff is succinct, easy to follow, and hits the absolute fundamental points of whatever skill you're breaking down. BRAVO!

you are the greates educative content creator for basketball. And just to confirm - hesi here is just to hold ball a bit in your hand before trying to accelerate to the hoop? And sometimes something like a glide or leg slide is predeccessing that "handling the ball - hesi movement"? am I right? Durant is perfect in it. As far as I understand - but I can not catch the rhythm of that "hesi". =(

  • @CoachFrikki

Spot on, hesi is hanging the ball out wide. While your feet are split explosively (ballside foot in front). KD has mastered it for sure.

Hesi head fake vid dropping soon and both of them will definitely be in it! Rondo does it such a unique way because he does it with the ball in his right hand (shooting hand) while 99% people do it with the ball in the non-shooting hand.
