...plain and simple, a playtest of the Monk and abilities.
I did make a dumb error; I ended a turn without recovering my Elemental styles (after defeating the orc) and there were no monsters in my line of sight.
I have written myself up for this blunder. wasn't in a rush, just completely goofed. mind was on another plane.
