I almost thought the world was in normal or easy mode lol, for context, on normal mode villagers become zombie villagers on a 50% chance, and on easy they just die, not turning undead

At this point, who isn't? Life series and vault hunters are my life

My husband and I are starting to watch Vault Hunter videos now as we discover the game. My Husband has failed soooo many scavenger vaults… and watching this video learned he could have left the vault without getting all the stuff. He stood up, left the room and had a small scream in the bathroom 😂😂 That’s a good 20 or so vaults failed when they didn’t need to be 😅

Little tip I noticed you don't do, you can open up pouches in your inventory by mousing over them and pressing B (or whatever you have the open backpack keybind set to) avoids that extra step of putting it on your hotbar to right click open it

I need you and Mumbo to collab again! I miss the S5 days when you guys were always interacting and doing build offs

I doubt Vault Hunters is suitable for a thumb shifter

All I’m gonna say is if the episode has a strange mumbomination in the thumbnail I’m very much looking forward to this one :)

cable routing is why in all my bases with tech and tech-adjacent mods and such, i always leave a couple blocks gap space between the walls and floors of my rooms. i can run cables and pipes and the like around back there instead of having them visible. also gives me space to put cool doors between rooms, or airlocks etc

To answer your fishing question, I personally love fishing with a rod, cuz I enjoy fishing for random enchanted books. Though it is very satisfying hunting underwater with a 1-hit axe :)

I haven't seen the whole episode yet, so bear this in mind. BUT: As of episode 9 and the first 5 minutes of this episode, it has occurred to me that I really wish iskall would make an effort in each episode to interact with a new hermit in at least some meaningful/significant way if not run a vault with them, so far on the series with half of hermitcraft playing VH on a server with iskall, we've seen him play mostly by himself or with stress a bit. We've seen Etho and Beef a couple of times, but I really feel like the hook of this new series of having lots of hermits playing VH on a server together is really being wasted away on the platform where the series will get the most viewership. And yes, I understand timezones exist and its hard to get a swede to play with an american from arizona, but I still believe my point stands. Mostly this is a suggestion for @iskall85, but if anyone in the comments feels the same, feel free to share/add on supporting arguments. Or don't, you're human, you've got free will :)

I think it's so cool how the various features of Vault Hunters are more spread out now throughout the levels. It keeps players from being overwhelmed at the start, and means that vaulting never gets stale!

You should set up Kenny as your secretary. Also, a trinket could make a nice RGB mousepad for a powerful executive like yourself.

I'll admit: right now, with Secret Life and Decked Out and all the other things going on... I still look most forward to Vault Hunters! This series is just so addictive and satisfying and I love every episode. Loving how Pacific Jr is coming along!!

I heard on the VOD for last stream that you've been getting a lot of hateful comments lately and first of all I really hope they're dying down and second please take your time and do what makes you happy. We know you'll return to the single player world eventually, and we understand why they restart. The game is changing so rapidly so it's very difficult to have a world that sticks through all the world gen changes and gameplay changes. I for one love this hermit craft vaulthunters series so much! A little sad to be missing some of my favorite hermits but this combines two of my favorite series' and I'm so happy this is happening. We love you iskall!!

My first plunderer's vault was yesterday. I found both a gilded village room and an ornate dungeon, and left with a shulker and a half of gear and nearly an entire pouch of jewels. I also got a level 4 frost nova potion modifier

Would definitely want to see those extra vault runs (unedited vods are fine, perhaps even preferred, gives more watch time)

on the bottom of your base, you should add your vault portal it will fit right in. Also move everything in and organize your office.

You should keep some gear with +1 to Dash, Speed and Vein Mining for your Vanilla build to help with everyday things, then swap to your Vault build when running a Vault.

28:12 Refined storage does actually do laptops (though, they aren’t nearly as good as a full system, like how laptops are worse than full setups irl). The laptop is a portable grid and you put a single drive into it and can store (and craft, if it’s a a portable crafting grid) items in the drive like a regular system, given that the portable grid has power

Fishing - i really like that they have it in the game. Doesn't make for thrilling content but when playing, i sometimes need something i can do without having to think about it, and fishing is one of those things that lets me be productive without stress. And it sometimes gives random interesting things, so yay! (Eg it's how i got the nautilus shells for my conduit.)

You can right click with a regular axe to deoxidize copper golems. Wax just keeps them from becoming oxidized, you have to do it before they're fully oxidized.
