That's why Kibaki did not get meshed in politics. And we all know that he did very well to bring sense to running the government and economic growth. The people who he appointed to help him, give very admirable tact he applied to make each of them to be a solution bringer and NOT a whinny tweet. Why can't they just vacate the seat and we will be saved 😪 from listening to the stuck record 😫.

The late president Mwai Kibaki had a cabinet that talked less and did more. In real life, people who spend more time talking normally have little time, if any, for other things. What is the the purpose of spokespersons if you also want to be heard all the time. The truth is that, the cabinet, as it is presently constituted, does not inspire confidence. Be reminded that. These are my thoughts and everyone else is entitled to his /hers.

Good discussion. My take is that the Kenyan individual has to change. There will be no progress as long as the moral bankruptcy continues. Kenyan individuals have to take personal responsibility and decide to be better persons. You can have the best laws, constitutions etc but it will amount to nought as long as the values do not change.

With the creation of the County system, why do we need still need all the Ministries nationally with still the same bloated personnel? Why do we need 400 plus members of parliament when the same replica parliaments exists in the county governments? In realizing that we needed devolution, why did we not revise the salaries of all politicians, civil servants to match the new now bigger bloated government. I agree with prof, we need to get serious.

CT and Manyora just joked about Easter in this episode. The real issue is that as the whole world celebrated Easter... In my opinion, Kenya did not celebrate Easter because the political stone has not been removed. Like Mary Magdaline.. Kenyans are asking who will roll the stone of political darkness away for us. Unless this question is answered.. Kenyans will remain in the political tomb.

Ruto was right. He was smart enough to name this, 'bottom up'. Now we know we are starting again at the bottom and Rigathi has to be the one to divulge to the crabs that climbing up from this economic bucket (or wheelbarrow) will have his 'company shareholders' starting up first. Apparently, half of the crabs don't belong to this RigG company limited (limiting?). How many crabs will get up to the rim of the wheelbarrow bucket with the jostling and down-pulling to re-invent the wheel on the wheelbarrow? You guessed right...Zero! Unless we invert the wheelbarrow (not overthrow it)...and level the playing field so the National conversation is lateral rather than vertical, where only sensible citizens dialogue on the true bottom-up and middle-out, and politicians are prevented from making another top-down handshake (or come-we-stay).

You listen to the discussion.....and do not fail to realise that this NATION has the HUMAN CAPITAL and CAPABILITIES to navigate us through and resolve our ECONOMIC and DEVELOPMENT CRISIS..... Unfortunately, the tragedy is that the requisite capacities are not in situ!!!!..... Instead our current position is that we have a sixth division, second reserve team currently mismanaging of our national affairs!!!

Coming out of this situation is simple; 1.) Combat corruption 2.) Minimise wastage in running government by reducing wastage 3.) The most serious one, Kenya can't sustain 47 county governments, 9 constitutional commissions. The US economy is about 20+ trillion dollars and they have 52 states, Kenya with an economy of about 100 billion dollars with 47 county governments.... absolutely nonsense, even someone who hasn't studied economics will tell u that's total rubbish.....let's revisit our constitution, reduce number of counties, number of constituencies, do away with nominated seats and fight corruption, that way Kenya will sustain itself
