Can you lie on the seat when you drive on the highway? It seems like a good idea to relax and let your back have some rest. But it’s actually dangerous. Not only because the control over your car will be complicated.
First of all, you shouldn’t recline the back part of the car seat too much because of the seat belt. It’s engineered to work properly when the driver’s seat is adjusted properly. Otherwise, you may dive under the seat and have problems with the seat belt suffocation you or causing other problems.
Secondly, when you lie on the driver’s seat when driving, there is a chance that the neck muscles will be tensioned and the position of your neck is not going to be perfect.
