That photo of her standing there with that beautiful smile just gets to me.

I broke down when the news of her death was announced. I had one coworker tell me I was being silly crying over the Queen. I told him, just because we live in America and not part of the monarchy we should show respect and love for her years of dedication to her country! I’m not ashamed about crying over her death. She was on the throne longer than I have been alive. This world won’t feel the same without Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in it. I want to offer my deepest sympathies to the Royal Family and to the British people.

The comments really disturb me, the monies that poured into England, Ireland, Wales & Scotland alone, due to the Monarchy certainly outweighed any pennies the UK CITIZENS ever paid. Their Queen was so very, very frugal. Charles provided constantly from the Duchy and his care made incredible amounts of $$’s to provide. Plus the Queen herself, had her own wealth she used frugality across the board. Sorry, UK otherwise be a very poor country w/o 70 yrs of her. She & Phillip ran a household w/ not a raise for cost of Living raise, many, many years at a time throughout her reign. I’ve visited UK annually at least for years, See ya….

Probably!- and our Lord allowed her to do her duty right to the end- which was what she wanted : Goodbye to the old and Welcome to the New PM and with that task fulfilled, He called her to Him. RIP, Our Gracious Queen.

I have never lived a single day without the Queen at the back of my mind! I was born after her coronation! No words could describe her greatness, uniqueness, importance, contributions, exemplary leadership…..demonstrated to the entire World! She is the prime of humanity and the void/loss of her leaving is equally indescribable!

I am glad that in her lifetime I acknowledged what Queen Elizabeth 2 meant to me. I always looked up to her as a great example of class, grace & commitment to duty. I knew I’d be sad when she passed because they’ll never be another like her. RIP QE2.

I remember during the 9/11 attack, she personally called the Buckingham head of military orchestra to play but change to America National Anthem and then the radio announcing all British to stop everything to pray for 5mins. Ppl on the streets suddenly stop and started crying. That would be the best sympathies she gave to America. 💖💖😢😢

Just like my mom, 10 days after a certain event she started hallucinating, got very weak, went downhill very fast and almost overnight became demented. Even her face lost all of the muscling on it. She is on hospice now so I don’t think she will last much longer. Another family member is tending to her and her health care decisions. I have had no say. That person wasMedical power of attorney.

the day before she died she was signing in a new prime minster and only 24 hour later she died now that is dedication to being an ambassador for the uk. she was and is amazing sure she had a hard time sometimes and being under appreciated now and then but she was a person worth any of her crown jewels and more! thanks lizzy

I have never met her but I loved her. I, too, have cried since Thursday. It's been so hard to believe that she's gone. It's always been on my list of things to do to go to England and meet Queen Elizabeth II. I would have loved to sit down and have tea with her. It's so hard to imagine our world without her. May she be rejoined with Prince Philip and they rest in peace. 💜

She knew but not when. She knew her time was short, so she had all her family close by. Harry should have visited, as he was not able to get there in time of her last moment. I wonder about him, it seems to me Prince William is extending a olive branch to Harry, and king Charles definitely sent him his love for Harry and Meghan in his first speech to England. I don't see him bending much to love and forgiveness. Yet we know little what they all express behind doors. I'm glad she was so keen minded to the end. She was at peace I think with her extrodianory accomplishments, her smile so real and warm. American as I am, when certain aspects of this final goodbye are seen...King Charles speaking of his Mom in his first speech, Princess Anne, Princes Edward, Andrew and even the wives faces so full of grief, the curtsy from Princess Anne in Edinburgh as The Queen coffin went by. It just tears you up I never realized the depth of feeling I had for this great lady and Queen until this time of mourning. I will miss her I think always. I'm glad Biden is going to represent us at her funeral. King Charles III will be an outstanding King, especially with the help of his son, his"beloved" wife, Princess Anne and his brithers.

My grandma died in August. She was 93 and was relatively healthy and could walk around just like the Queen. Then one morning after she finished her breakfast, she went back to her room to take a short nap like she usually does and never woke up. People at the age can go anytime even when they looked completely fine a few days before.

what a phenomenal woman! She inherently knew that less is more and the service to her country was unparalleled. Such a sharp mind and phenomenal work ethic. I have heard that she was wakened every day, at 7am and never had a sleep in, in her entire life. I will never get used to singing God Save the King. It will forever and always be God Save the Queen for me.

I am sure Harry had his reasons why he did not come to visit earlier- but I lost both of my parents in my childhood & never knew either side grandparents,,, the family was truly blessed to have her for as long as she lived,,, as old as she was I would have made every possible attempt to go see my grandmother knowing she was at the end of her life. Condolences to the family/friends and county upon their loss.. Long live King Charles III.

I am sure Harry will always regret his not visiting her during his visit to the UK. I'm guessing he felt some guilt over that interview, and Meghan's lies about racism. He did try to get to Balmoral in time, but was too late. No doubt Meg had hoped for a family visit and photographs, so was disappointed. Harry's loyalties have been divided. He missed seeing both of his grandparents during their last days on Earth.

Rest Easy Queen Elizabeth. She was an inspiration for all women to be gracious, kind, devoted, respected and most importantly strong. After 70 years on the throne God saw how tired she was and took her to her heavenly forever home. She is reunited with her beloved Prince Phillip, parents and sister. She will be dearly missed.

Queen Elizabeth will be sorely missed...she has done such a wonderful job...there will be no one like Queen Elizabeth...no one will do a better job, although we do have countless examples of her love of country, family, and of your steadfastness. God's peace to your loved ones.

Jeez...getting out of her death bed, and dressing so usually, sweetly...to greet the new PM...WHO MAY ONLY BE A TEMP. THAT IS SERVICE. THAT IS A SOLDIER FOR THE COMMONWEALTH...

Just for your reference the royal family always spend Christmas at Sandringham… Balmoral was mainly a summer holiday residence.

It's such a shock. She will me missed by many of us world wide

My favorite photo is the last one. She looks frail but so real and lovely. I love her sweater and her ever present handbag. With her cane . She looks vulnerable but not weak,it's a reality look. No one knew that she would leave 48 hours later. I feel like it was my grandmother or great aunt,with her sly smile. Now,she is resting with her beloved husband at her side and " Susan" the first corgi.

70 years as a Queen. Amazing. The LORD God gave her a long life and the ability to be the Queen. She was always smiling and seemed comfortable in her Position. I'm sure there are a lot of memories her family has of her and Prince Philip. They both lived a long time, they hopefully had many good times as husband and wife and raising their children....family times. This gs have changed over the Decades and I hope that the next Ruler of England will do a Good job like she did. History will tell. She will be missed by Many people. (As an American I can't relate to this, but, I do Respect the Royals of Other Countries. As long as they do Right by the people as did Queen Elizabeth. And keep the peace.) I send my condolences to the entire family of the Queen and all the people close to her that will miss her.

The end of the age of monarchies and democracies is solidified with the slow replanning of western civilization. And is rolling on before us. And there is no pill modern man has to cure it. Rip Queen Elizabeth the I I not only did she completely fulfill her role and duty as queen. She was such a nice, classy and respectful lady. She will be greatly missed.

Im sure her father was waiting at the gates for her to welcome her into the great kingdom. As he welcomes her home he also gave her a smirk and whispers, "you'll be remembered and loved by them for the unwaivered devotion you gave them till the end!"

I consider myself fortunate to have lived through her entire reign. I was just 10 days old when she became gueen. Rest in God's peace.
