Nothing compares to the intrinsic feeling of being in your dreamcar whatever it is, could be me in my landcruiser 30 years after I fell in love with a landcruiser in 1991. Today, this 4x42 is my lottery car! I don't need to go fast, I need to go ANYWHERE!🙌

Thanks roman for the video. I can't imagine how blessed to drive this 4x4 squared. I use my G270d with proper off road tires for my adventures. These boys retain value properly that even w460s still pricy . Thanks for the adventures

Considering the size and shape of that thing it sounds relatively quiet in there. I also irrationally lust after these vehicles. Not sure why, but yeah, if I had the money I'd put one in my garage.

I had an ml500. It was a fantastic vehicle all around vehicle for snow, towing, and moderate off road use. Fuel economy was decent but unfortunately it took premium grade.

Love the G. I wish you spoke more about the comfortability of the vehicle, the noise level inside, highlighted some interior features, played the stereo, etc. I know you touched on a few things, but a little bit more would’ve been nice. I think we heard more about your decision to stay in Moab or drive to CO than anything else. Still like your videos. BTW, I think Jay Leno had this car in his garage with the CEO & Pres. of MBZ USA, Dimitri, before you took over. Same engine builder, Ernesto, same color.

I live in the UK and have the 2015 style Land Rover Defender (the last year they made that version before the new ones). Mine is quite loud on the road, and it's been sound proofed. The G63 sounds pretty loud too. Can you elaborate on it? It's hard to tell from a microphone. Cheers.

Been spending a lot of time on I-10 lately Roman. This should have been a lot more comfortable and more convenient - not having to sit around and waiting for inefficient energy storage devices to recharge.

My 2017 Freightliner semi gets 8.7 mpg fully loaded at 79-80,000 lbs. Yikes to 9.3 with this gWagon! At $370,000 , the gWagon should be producing its own gas! Lol!

That's impressive. That's about the same as a 14 tonne Hino I drove with 12 tonne load. You had 36 tonne. Amazing.

Maybe it’s just poor light in the garage but the 6x6 looks like one of the replicas built in Ukraine. Looks like the rear inner plastic fenders are missing and it doesn’t seem to have the correct Ohlins suspension (I think Bill Rader Motorsports is replacing them with some K&Ws so that could be the reason if it’s original).

I need one just so I can park where ever I want

Just curious: The last car these TFL car guys drove was a Porsche Taycan. if given the chance what would you take; this Mercedes AMG G63 or the Porsche Taycan? Although I love the Taycan, I would take the Mercedes G63.

'Most' people could not afford this if given one free, when you factor registration/plates, insurance, and fuel consumption. Hopefully, MB includes a basic maintenance package at this price?

For non US people 9,3 MPG is 26,1 L/100 km

Roman I think you should treat yourself to you're dream truck, you worked hard many years you only live once.

Old one looked more rough, it had higher clearance too.

Roman - I just bought a G63 Squared. The wind noise is more than our standard G63 - real noticeable about 80 . Ours has the luggage rack. I noticed the one you drove did not have the luggage rack on top. How was the wind noise? I an trying to determine is it the roof rack or the spoiler( light rack) up front. Thanks

Nice handicapped parking space they took up there in the hotel.

You may be driving at autobahn speeds, but you seem to lack autobahn lane discipline of using the left lane only for passing.

Bull bar is a little too close to the body for effective livestock herding, but I wouldn’t expect MB engineers to know how that works.

9.3 mpg on the highway w premium fuel, wow. I have a 200 series Land Cruiser that reliably gets 18.3mpg highway using 87 octane. This thing makes it seem like a Prius (and the better choice). This is a cool car but really isn’t… usable.

I wish he compared it to the hummer EV. Would have made for a very interesting and high quality video testing 2 very different yet comparably capable off-road vehicles. A comparison you really wouldn't be able to find anywhere else, done by people knowledgeable in off-roading. Feels, and seems, like a missed opportunity.

$360k car still says "I'm amazed" Nah, at that price point, it's expected. 🤣

I’d say 13 mpg highway, around 1,6 mpg offroad…

I don't like Moab because it's mostly rock, it's not mud. Mud is needed to unleash 100% of offroader's potential.

Could Roman comment on the fact that the seats looked too narrow for him?
