I smoked cigarettes for 23 years and we were doing a church fast. I felt lead to give up my cigarettes and yes it was hard and no I didn’t make it the full 24hrs😢. I did try and my heart was in it for sure. I can however say I believe that was the beginning of a process where God fully delivered me from smoking. So no we may not be perfect with our intentions but I believe God seen my heart and began a good work. I have been smoke free for 10ths. Thank you Lord❤🙌

Fasting is how I got rid of my porn addiction, I'm doing it to get rid of my nicotine addiction now 😇 the holy spirit never let Me touch a cigarette or a vape during that window I'm going for a weekly one! That will probably end the addiction once and for all 💛

I have a feeling David Hernandez had straight A's in school. He backs up everything he says by CITING scripture and when he's giving his opinion, he clearly states it and makes that distinction between his opinion and the word. He explains scripture at a PhD level. He nails the art of explaining clearly :) very anointed!!

7-26-21 Holy spirit tells me when to fast. When I was a baby in Christ He told me to fast three days,no food and no water. It still rings true to this day. I fast according to His leading now. Once I fasted 12days straight and heard,"Well, you conquered the floor". I remained on the floor in my bedroom all 12 days. It's 3days no food or water for real When it's Holy Spirit lead,OCEANS OF GRACE accompanies you,blessings everyone.

Same, he let me eat 1 peace of meat daily but I was told to fast from food the rest of the day. I'm not allowed to fast from everything yet I still stumble with brain fog and confusion. That's when he ends it for me.

Isaiah 58 is a great scripture about the fast God wants, He want our hearts to be broken and contrite, especially when we fast. That's the most important aspect of fasting.

My husband and myself have experienced blessings from God through His providence on our spiritual and financial growth as and when we obediently shared whatever little we could with this ministry which is led by the Holy Spirit. Prayer and fasting literally transformed me after just one day... it is like being consistently in tune with the savior, and at any given moment that I'd typically be distracted or tuned -out literally sharpens my mind and immediately reminds me and leads me to seeking him either through praise, to studying my Bible or to spend time with him: with a deep understanding of the power we have over sin and fear through Jesus Christ:)

I thank God for your life Pastor David, because i knew it was Him who introduced you to me since from the moment i began to surrender my life fully to Him and i began to ask about my calling, of where He really calls me. Everytime this channel releases it's teachings i always say it's for me because my seasons and your teachings are related and I believed it's not just a coincidence, I believed it's God. At this point in time I'm in a fast for about 2 nights already and i don't when will this end... A conviction from the Holy Spirit shooked inside of me that's why i am having a Prayer and Fasting. And now the Lord want's you to speak about it Halleluaj! Thank you Jesus Christ! You are so Blessed Pastor David❤

I find fasting from morning till 6 pm at least once a week very satisfying while reading scripture and in prayer. Sometimes from noon till 6pm. It's true, once you start reading scripture, you stop noticing you're fasting. It's a beautiful thing. I don't however think it's wise to ever fast from drinking water, it's bad for your kidneys. 🙏💜

David Hernandez is a blessing!! I've hopped on board to so many different ministries but in the end they've played on my desperation and vulnerability. I was shocked to see him featured on a KZread video as a "false preacher". I'm glad However that the highest rated comment with the most likes said that David Hernandez is the real deal!! I hope that one day David will pastor a church. He's such a blessing!! I'm hurt to think of all the money I donated to ministries that left me empty spiritually. I even donated 1k to a deliverance ministry in Glendale California that when the pastor touched me on my head, I wouldnt fall back and he kept pushing down on my head telling me not to resist. I wasn't resisting, it just wasn't happening for me at that time. It was awful. When I get back on my feet financially, I look forward to becoming a monthly member. BLESS YOU DAVID HERNANDEZ!! I can feel how genuine and impartial you really are!! Blessings from an American living in Spain but more than excited to to finally move back home to L.A. this June!

Lord help me fast and pray in your glory

I am a regular faster but unfortunately I have been focusing on the health benefits. I have Lyme disease and fasting a week every 3 or so months puts lyme symptoms in remission. Also cancer is rampant in my family (Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, aunts , uncles have all died of cancer) Fasting greatly reduces the risk of cancer. The problem I have is putting the focus on prayer. Today is the start of my +9 day fast (hopefully). There was a woman who eradicated Lyme with 9 days of dry fasting (at a clinic in Russia). The longset dry fast I have done was 5 days. My longest water fast was 11&1/2 days. This time I am focusing on God. I am praying hourly (when I am awake) To himns and that which glorifies God. I dont want only health benefits but i want spiritual benefits. God is good.

@@daphne201239 your body makes water just like a Camel does. It breaks apart the fat in your cells to get hydrogen which it combines with oxygen from your lungs to make H2O. Of course you can become dehydrated. Especially if you have little fat reserves or are very active and deplete yourself too quickly.

I was thinking about abandoning fasting because it always made me anxious when I did it or thought about doing it. I knew why we should fast and I knew it was important to God but I didn't know HOW to do it. Thank the Lord for pastor David.

This is so right! It can make you sick depending on what your eating and drinking prior to your fast. Like the first day can make throw up and give you bad headaches

Weekly fasting is easy to practise and can be done regularly for Asking Holy spirit and God to lead the whole week ,3 days before starting of every month for surrendering each month requirements and success of monthly plans and programs or work.And. 40 days once in a year. If you count Annually it's almost total 120 days fasting every year.

This is the only message I’ve heard that gave clarity to what Jesus really did during that 40 days of fasting. Indeed our bodies will not survive without water beyond 3 days. Thank you for the informative video! This has really helped me understand all the types of fasting and how I was technically fasting without realizing it. I would just have the desire to take a break from something I use or do all the time (most likely The Holy Spirit) and would just be able to do it. I don’t feel stressed about this anymore! @@DCB938 There's one major difference between Christianity and buddhism. In buddhism, it's all about proving your own righteousness before your god by doing as many good works as possible, and this is the case with most other false religions. In Christianity, it's not about our own works because Jesus Christ did ALL of the work when He was crucified for our sins! Once we accept in our hearts what He did for us on the cross, we are baptized with His Holy Spirit and made completely new creatures! That doesn't mean you won't be doing good works as a Christian, but rather than trying to prove yourself with them like in most other false religions, they will be the RESULT of your changed nature from the inside. That doesn't mean we won't make mistakes, but our identity is completely changed as we become sanctified and more Christ-like! I really encourage you to accept Jesus Christ into your heart and forsake any forms of buddhism, for that is idolatry because there is only one God and He alone shall you serve! I guarantee that you will not regret this decision because it will be unto salvation!

I coudlnt agree more, Ive had short and unexpected fasting experience yesterday morning. I am so hooked to reading the bible and forgot that i hadnt had breakfast and i never felt any hunger until my mom came and tell me its lunch time. its really amazing that i instead felt hungry and shaking after i ate!
