Love Mr Charles first location from Charlotte now lives in Arlington TX come there every year stop by the first Mr Charles love it

I don’t understand how the simple thing of pinto beans not be served warmed. That’s insane.

When we first moved to Charlotte, we tried Mr. Charles. This fish I really liked. I agree with you on the rest of the food. Keep it real. Thanks

Ahhh…I’m 54 and my thoughts on the spot I went to last night was a younger generation is cooking and putting their modern twist to soul food. Not saying bad but not food for the soul. Seems like this place is similar🤷🏽‍♀️

Virtually every food reviewer says that, they’re being modest. With that being said, some of them will go back to a restaurant to try it again and it was a much better experience than the first time.

He has to protect his credibility. I was thinking of visiting Charlotte for the upcoming football season and being from New Orleans I would have been highly disappointed going there if he gave it a high rating.

Regular people do better as food valogers

They robbed you

You should have called the owner/manager of the restaurant back to your table añd explained to him WHY his food was rated so lowly. You arent helping him do any better if he doesn't know whats wrong. Yes he should already know but evidently he doesnt. There is no way he came to your table and endorsed his food & promising to make sure it was perfect and then knowingly send that crap out! 🫤

You just exposed yourself as someone that doesn’t go to Church all you said is way back in the day,not many Pastors still wear robs & that hymn…yeah🫠
