Here's 5 Reasons why you should BUY GMT900 Tahoe 2007-2014
The Tahoe from 2007-2014 is proving itself very reliable, well, atleast the 4.8Ls. I truly love our Tahoe. It has been very reliable and its very comfortable on long drive. It is definitely a keeper. Now, hopefully the gas prices will go down.

My Mom has my grandparent's old 2007 Tahoe LTZ. It has 271,000 miles on it. Still going strong on original engine and transmission.
Extremely reliable. I have an 07 with the 5.3L and I love it!
I bought my 2011 Tahoe LTZ from its original owner @100k miles. I’m at 178k and going strong. Only thing I’ve had to replace is the stupid button to open the glass on the lift gate. DVD player and 3rd row are clutch for road-trips!
the oil consumption is easy repair, you remove the driver side valve cover and you drill some holes in metal cover under valve cover, it's part of the pcv system and only has one small oil drain hole that can plug up( reason to drill more holes) easy!! will stop using oil 9 out of 10 times)

I’m on my 4th Tahoe and my next vehicle will be another Tahoe.
Just bought a 5.3 07 Tahoe LTZ. Love it. My wife now drives my old Kia Sportage. This thing rocks!

I want a 4x4 one for a family car. I like to go camping.
I have a Chevy suburban LT with 216k mikes still going strong
Hey man! Great video! My dad has a 2010 cadillac escalade he traded the first astro on, and it is very similar to your Tahoe except it has a 6.2 L V8. I know some of these tahoes, and escalade would have sunroof, and a DVD player in the back. It depends on what type of model you are buying though. I also miss my original astro which started my channel.

Those Escalades are nice, but they aren't as simple as a Tahoe (electronically wise) so they have a bit more electrical issues. Beautiful nonetheless.

@@ImChrisDeDecker yup! Electrical problems! He was going to get the tahoe before, but he choose the escalade just because they are a little bit luxurious.

I got a 2010 tahoe with a 5.3. Its got a leveling kit and 31 baja TA tires and the running boards removed its a very capable off road vehicle and a family vehicle as well! I got mine with 175k and our family loves it!

If I find one at a decent price I’ll get it! Thanks 👍
Man!!! Just purchased a tahoe ppv. It's really good on gas due to it was designed to function as a police suv🤗

Had no idea the 4.8s had no afm hell in that case she's a winner

@@ImChrisDeDecker I just bought a 08 avalanche with the 6.0 the truck is awesome afm is the only thing that scares the hell outta me to the point I bought a extended warranty on it and I'm pretty cheap I never buy warranties but I did just in case the afm starts acting up
Very informative video, thank you. What do you suggest about the cracked dashboard?
@ImChrisDeDecker
Жыл бұрын
I removed the dash and re-Inforced the back side with fiberglass and a plastic slurry. I also used stables to fix all the cracks. My next move will be buying a dash cap and installing that! You could purchase a complete replacement, but that would be more than double the price
My 07 has a 5.3 non flex
I love the way the Z71 Tahoes look of this gen, but the transmissions are kinda finicky
I have an 07 Tahoe PPV
5.3 and bigger got the afm which is trash i bought a 07 Silverado but thank God the previous owner had did the complete delete of the afm different cam shaft different lifters push rods valley cover so i was super lucky i dodged the afm trash
I have an 08 z71 with rear back up sensor. Very basic does the stop light green yellow red lights visible in rear view. Nice video!

My 07 does the same thing. When I first got it I was like WTF 😂
I love the 4.8 man it'll out last at 5'3 all day cuz it doesn't have cylinder deactivation and they tried to say it only got 14 miles to the gallon and the five three got 15 back when it was made new because they wanted you to buy the 53 to try to push those AFM engines out there for the government and realistically the 48 actually gets better gas mileage
GMT800 All the way! Better build quality and reliability. Better looking to but that's just me. But if your happy with your GMT900 then that's all that matters. I'm currently saving up for an '05 or '06 Tahoe Lt with sunroof.

@@ImChrisDeDecker I like the GMC Envoy better. Looks better IMHO. I've settled on a '00-'02 Tahoe as deep down I like the old style '90s esque interior better than the more modern '03 and up interior. But I also like a cable operated throttle better than the drive by wire garbage they went to from '03 onwards. Throttle cables are tried and true.
We got one at our grandparents house but hasn’t been driven in about 10 years . Idk if it’s worth to fix or not

What year? What color? Willling to sell it ?
I just joined the Tahoe club. '09, 175k for 8k. Never owned a Chevy, but always loved the Tahoe. Interior is really nice, especially considering the age. If i get a couple years or more out of it, ill be happy. Couple of minor things to fix, but the ride was really nice.

@@CheezDinero After doing my full research, I think I’ll honestly stick with a 2011 Ford Explorer. The interior is way more modernized, while the Tahoe is outdated. The Explorer is also more quicker and comes with more features. Although, it is your choice to choose which one is better in your own opinion, I personally think that the Explorer is better.
