Wish this was for sale in Australia. Unfortunately it's not. Apparently as Toyota Australia believes that Aussies don't like to plug things in, this in spite of the fact that Tesla is on track to sell 10,000 model 3s this year, while the Prius hybrid will sell around 1/50th of that.

Thanks for the video. I have been eyeing prius prime for a long time. Few things I was looking for in the video are: 1) infotament system in more details : Android auto and Apple car play compatibility 2) Safety features like: adaptive cruise control, LKA, and how to use and engage them 3) special deals on the car , and offers. 4) Toyota warranty how long and what does it cover on prius prime.

The limited trim doesn't support Android auto. The infotainment screen on the limited is a headache. I returned the limited for the LE

@@MichaelMoore-bx6st According to Toyota; Android auto is supported on all trims, however I'm not a fan of the big screen and the glare, not mentioning the slow response. I think I will wait 5 more years before I buy my next prius.

@@mohammedlabeeb the dealer I bought one from thought the same thing. Android auto is positivity not supported on the larger screen, only the LE has it.

Hi. I love Toyota Prius Hybride with 50km batteries. But what is not said is that : batteries uses 1/3 of volume of the trunk! Which is very ennoying compared to PII or PIII. And the beautifull media screen you are talking about does not accept APPLE Play et ANDROID. Menu is very oldfashionned and disconnected from today's media. This is a big mistake from Toyota engineer. Now I prefer Ioniq hybrid plug in car, after 17 years driving a Prius II... think about this.

The new primes do have apple car play and android auto. The gps on the prime is also amazing.

Think through the options carefully and the buyer might do OK, as we feel that we did with our 2021 Prius Prime LE. Yes, the battery takes up a big part of the trunk space, but we think that will be a non-issue for us most of the time. We installed the Toyota roof racks at purchase, and have since used a large SportRack Cargo Box on them when we had serious luggage to load - like this past week. The wind resistance from the cargo box likely cuts into our mpg, but otherwise the box is not noticeable to the people inside. Only 2021 LE accepts ANDROID (as well as APPLE Play) on its 7 inch screen while Android is not available on the higher trim levels of XLE and Limited. Biggest downside - the catalytic converter needs protection from theft, as is true for most cars. It should be caged. It isn't. That's a serious issue. Also - no spare tire, but a repair kit instead. I've read that many new cars are being sold this way.

According to Toyota website Prius Prime 2021 has Android Auto, Apple Car Play, and Amazon Alexa.

For this reason I returned the limited for the LE that does have it

I own this car I love it however has a big downfall the air vents are wide open and mouse gets in the car I guess toyota uses soy in their leather and wiring plastic (not sure about this) Now I need to take the car apart to cover the air vents with wire mesh Because it stinks in there I found dead babies in there
