Here is the Greek flaming Cheese (Saganaki)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Saganaki is basically a Greek cheese that’s been pan fried. It has a gorgeous crispy crust on the outside and it’s soft melted cheese on the inside. It’s topped with a squeeze of lemon to cut through the richness. It makes the perfect appetizer to start any meal. This version is flambeed with brandy which is not traditional but adds another layer of flavour. Serve it with black kalamata olives, a crisp salad and crusty bread for an amazing experience.

Joel my good friend, i really like this recipe, careful folks if you flame it up with vodka, etc...might want to do it outside so as not to start a kitcken fire. Joel, i'd like to see your take/recipe on spinakopita, one of my fave greek dishes. May have to be a two parter cause i know you keep your recipe videos between 3-6 minutes. Maybe part 1 the phyllo/filo dough( i've seen it spelled both ways), then the spinach, cheese, etc... in part 2, with baking temp & time, would be great. Cheers mate ! & you, your wife, & yours please stay safe.

They sometimes add sesame seeds and honey to the islands, it's another option largely used in the Greek islands which makes saganaki also super yummy!

Incredibly different and elegant! Nice❤️
From Bangladesh. Looking so delicious
There's no "saganaki" cheese, saganaki is the small two handed frying pan traditionally used for the dish, it's why there's dishes like shrimps saganaki. You can use any type of semi hard or hard cheese, like kefalotiri, formaela, talagani, metsovone etc etc, or local cheeses in your country, sheep cheeses tend to do a little better for this dish though. All that said though, you took the recipe to eleven, great job!
Simple elegance, thank you.

Great video with beautiful sounds and music again! PS Saganáki is just the name of the pan the cheese is fried. Greeks typically use Kefalotýri cheese but the Cypriot Halloúmi is equally delicious. Another very popular apetizer is 'prawn saganáki'. Cheers.

Don't look for cheese named "saganaki". This is the name of the procedure. Any type of hard, yellow cheese (like graviera), from cow or goat should do.

The greek saganaki, matches more with greek " xoriatiki" salad.😁

Squeeze the lemons over the flaming cheese to put out the fire. OPAA!
Is it important to soak in water? I tried just putting flour and skip the alcohol part.. the end result not good hahah everything melt and it did not become gold brown like yours
