If we as women can close our legs, stop chasing marriage and live our lives fully we wouldn't be falling for all of this destruction.

Lots of men are walking around wounded. They fail to deal with their emotions because they believe it makes them look weak. Unfortunately in doing this, they leave trails of hurt behind. Whatever they touch, they destroy. It's a sad reality.

I have a great career, and I love myself. Ive worked for years to gain love for myself. I refuse to let any man to take my peace and love of myself away because they're sucked of their energy

Agreed. If they don't know they get that mess all over women, I'd like to inform everyone that it does happen. Deceived people don't know they're deceived. It's perfectly healthy and mature to do what's best for their own good and not bleed all over a woman/man. (It works both ways). Take the time to heal first. It's not a given, you have to TAKE the time. I mean if we as women can and should work, not only to know but to truly heal emotional damage from relationships, then men aren't exempt. Happiness is free.

Allen Carletta. I would never tell my daughter that. I grew up heading that through other associates and media. I'm mid 30's and just had a daughter by a grown boy. So toxic since fir almost 10 years. It took until after I had my daughter to see him for who he is and the sexual stopped but good brought Toby Gaskins to my attention first and then I came across Blake's. It's funny to know I was always right but the saddest is the women, the older women who were blinded app they never or couldn't help me realize and confirm what these two men have. God was always telling me but the manipulations, condescending, and gas lighting and all other toxicity was just outdoing God's work and that's ashame. What I can say it's God never left me because I never let go of him to get lost. Once you fall face down and plead and praise to God to save you, he will!! For me he did it when I was genuinely tired and after I went celibate on my own. Do the work ladies and pray daily and God will do the miracles

@@DeeplyJenny Another example: A woman with low self esteem. A real man wouldn't take advantage of her. He would either help her or walk away. Horrible men will stick around to exploit/abuse her and then blame her/say she let them do it. Fact is, they could have just walked away (or helped her). They *_chose_* to stay and exploit her low self esteem. I highly recommend Deborrah Cooper's YT channel. She talks a lot about this. My above example is inspired by her perspective on things. This is why this RC Blake comment really stood out to me. The universe was using them both to share this message.

All my life I date only nice guys. Yet the results I get from them are insecurity, belittling, jealousy, emotional laziness, passive aggression, lack of affection. Every single one of them was a bait and switch situation. I've never been with a violent man, or attracted to one of the men you describe. So I am forever lost why even the nice guys are crap. Many times I would ask them why they treated me that way and I got answers like 'you're as loyal as a dog no matter what I'll do to you you will never leave me'.. So I left. But the message was always the same; I need to be cruel, cold and abusive to keep a ''man'' in check. It's tiring. So I've been single for at least a decade. I'm depressingly lonely but not going to be in a relationship with yet another depressing ''nice guy''. I do everything on my own without waiting for someone to come along and be with me. I feel I live in an emotional desert.

The guys you have dated are NOT nice guys. This is an opportunity to reset definitions. To analyze our labels as he said, what is it about me that attracts men like that? Men who appear nice, and reveal that they are insecure, belittling, jealous, passive aggressive and so on. We have to ask the tough questions, how is it that the same man shows up again and again?

@@sharondianne3190 I've heard all this a million times. It's an eloquent way of blaming ''the victim''. I don't attract the same guy. I attract a hundred different types of actors masquerading as nice guys. So my only two options are either to start dating men who don't seem to be nice (aka good men) from the get go, or treat everyone as a potential liar every time he does or says something. All that said, I must admit I am somewhat naïve in taking things at face value.

@@oneofyou6773 Men are interesting creatures. In the dating game, you will strike out. View dating as vetting, investigating, and affirming. Men without pure intent typically lose interest within 30-90 days, lesser if you are intimate with them. View these rejects not as nice men, but men who misrepresented their intentions. You aren't what you attract, but you are what you keep, store, and feed. It's harder out here for some of us women because we are nice. Create a constitution, break it for no one. The goal is to vet and dispense of those who don't meet your expectations. Do not internalize their weakness. You a wonderfully made. It's about quality not quantity.

I let him talk and I listened to see if he was speaking like a Godly man and watched to see if his actions line up with his words. He said what I needed to hear without me saying a word. He's everything I prayed for and more. (Ephesians 3:2) He told me months later how women were messaging him about what all they would do for him. We have to be careful of the right words being said as well. If you have ever spoke to anyone or written about what you want in a man, trust the devil heard & saw that and will play off of your words and manipulate & deceive. Hopefully he sought you out with a sincere heart and not out of the fact that he know he can have the others and he knows what type of females they already are and sought you said out for reasons you would never imagine. I too was going about my business & enjoying a good life and never even saw the guy I ended up marrying on any social media platform (hid himself until he wanted to be seen) and out of nowhere I got some messages in my inbox. Face to face he was charming and he said everything he thought any female would want to hear, "you're different, nothing like the others he has met," "you have your own this and that" "you're what i have been looking for" or even later into the relationship or which ever "ship" is rowing "I knew you were my wife the first time I saw you" "you are too real to be true" "I cannot find nothing bad or negative about you" "you're the best thing that has ever happened to me" "you're so beautiful and I love this and that about you" and etc. Tells his family at first she the best at everything and she make me better. He even told my dad when he asked him for my hand in marriage (after asking me to marry him red 🏳 & I had to talk him into doing it) four yrs later that he did good raising me but all the while he still had a hidden agenda to hurt me on levels I never knew existed. After the wedding, my dad told him "alright she's yours now and dont let me down" his response " I got her and she nor you have anything to worry about." There were signs along the way but I did not act accordingly as I should have. Which u took responsibility and accountability for my part in allowing the relationship to get as far as it did. This demon's mask came off after marriage and after a few years of emotional, a few minor physical tries (a few military moves he said he was teaching me how to defend myself, a wash cloth drenched with water against my closed mouth and nose, hands & arms held, and a gun up against the side of my neck), mental, and verbal abuse and retirement we moved back to a home I owned when I met him and that joker carried out the rest of his plan and started more chaos, disruption, and everything else narcs do and left me with an eight month old baby. He started another life as a married man with someone he always runs to when he cannot control the current female and of course made her think I was a mistake and blah blah blah. In the midst of the abuse the joker admitted to knowing he was jacked up mentally and emotionally. It was like he was out on a mission to make women feel like he did/do inside because of what his father did to his mother and abandoned him and his mother ended up not being a good mother to him afterwards... The switch was turned on and he was trying now to make people think I was the problem, and all his negative, toxic, drama filled, manipulating behavior he tried to project it all on me. So be careful being sought out amongst those that are always telling him what they will do for him because he could still be entertaining them and telling them what he's saying they are saying to him. He sought you because he definitely sees what the others aren't hiding but maybe you are. Its like some of these males have demons whispering right in their ears or minds on exactly who we really are inside (empathetic) without us having to tell them much of anything. Be careful beautiful and make sure GOD is within every move you make dealing with him. I pray he does turn out to be what he presents to you whole heartedly. Blessings & Love.

@@LadyCmac98 such a horrible experience and thanks for your words of warning. The enemy has counterfeits. I've been through enough deception to know when someone is faking. They usually can't keep it up without slipping up relatively quickly and in my experience I would overlook red flags. Trust me I'm using discernment and willing to walk away in dignity if need be. I know I can be by myself and I'm not desperate. I'm too old for drama and will not tolerate my peace being disturbed at my age of 59. I was living before I met him and I will continue to live after him or any other man. God is my be all end all. Not a man. This isn't my first rodeo. I wish you well.

@EnJoy Life And Smile i follow Tony Gaskins as well. I listen to Derrick Jaxn, Dr Tony Evans, TD Jakes, my own Pastor and otherd. I also watch crime shows and movies where women are preyed upon and victimized. I'm not bragging or uplifting him I was simply giving an example. I have a relationship with my heavenly Father and I'm quite capable of making an informed informed decision and my walk away game is quite strong. Thanks for your sincere concern but I'm not lonely and gullible. My life was filled to the brim when I met him and still is. There was a particular context in which he made that statement and I won't divulge on this forum. I don't know if you read my 2nd response but I'm willing to walk away from him and any man if I detect something is out of order. My God is #1 & not him, my family or anyone.

I'm 38 years old and have been in various committed relationships. In my 20's most of the relationships I sabbatoged because I didn't love myself. At 38 yrs old I'm realizing that God has to come first. I'm leaving a 4 yr relationship that lead nowhere. He cooked for me provided for me and drew me in. Marriage was not in the plan for him so I walked away. In the beginning of the relationship we talked about marriage. There are good men out here. I'm not bitter at all because I love myself

The conditioning starts in the home when we we're very young. We watched and saw as young girls our fathers mistreatment and abuse of our mothers. We watched our mothers stay and accept, excuse, and normalize bad behavior and disrespect. Whether knowingly or unknowingly they subconsciously conditioned us , their daughters, to do the same. Our mothers were unconscious Queens who modeled unconscious to their daughters. So although daughter may desire a good man, she will subconsciously seek a man with characteristics of her father. She is doomed to repeat this never ending cycle unless she calls on God to change her and direct her!

If the man didnt have a father or a godly male presence in his life be very cautious set some boundaries from the beginning...your treading very close to toxicity and narcissism Ex. If the man your dating both of his parents were married and divorced 3xs or more you may need to stay away. If you love God and he doesn't know God at all..no exposure to things of God as a child no generational service to God RUN FAST.. A relative (uncle in-law) shared with me that my family member 50 plus years ago were going through a seperation divorce and her mother was pulling her away from a church going man..her mom kept telling her that the man wasn't out singing with his group but meeting women..because she didn't have any exposure to things of God destroyed the marriage so she started dating a new man who was married to another lady..she was the mistress that man ended up killing his wife because he wanted to leave his wife for the mistress..please be careful out there...there are some seriously broken people in the world.

What is my identity, what is the purpose of life, and why am I even here? I kept on spiraling down, until God extended a hand and pulled me out. Bishop we are addicted to the unavailability of a man because it turned some of us on. These type of men turn that crazy switch on that keeps us going that push/pull relationship. When we meet a good man he's just too normal we call him boring. I've been KNOWING this a long time I just couldn't put my finger on what was it.

a lot of ppl are trauma bonded. They grew up in situations and this type of unavailability and abandonment is normal. In many women's mind, they know that the man is not good for them. But when you are a wounded little girl inside or bonded to trauma-you naturally navigate to what you are used to. And some ppl look for hurt wounded women and play games on purpose. Manipulated! they look for prey.

This!!!! 🙏🏾 It's as if he's been watching from a clear point view, my life the past 3 years. After everything that's occurred, having surgery 3 days ago and he didn't show up emotionally, mentally, spritually or physically was my wake up PUSH. I cried, was angry with myself for expecting empathy he doesn't pocess. I was in pain literally and emotionally, not focusing on my own well-being but him. From all the pain and doubt he's caused with in me, this was the hurt that finally made me say "NO MORE... NOT ME". I'm in the process of change: showing up for ME and becoming my own best friend. My reflection is mine and mine alone. Time is a gift and something we don't get back. So from this point on I am upgrading SELF; the auto-play button has been removed for a better experience. History can not rewind, but can be repeated. From this moment forward, I choose ME!!

Ouch! I fell for this as a teenager. Now we've been married for 21 years. My soul is so sick. I have many health problems. He is a covert narcissist.

My ex situation who was connected to me solely because of a piece of paper sent me divorce papers while I was deployed, moved out our house, I had to buy everything brand new and give a power of attorney to another person to basically find me and my daughter home upon my return because she was gonna start school shortly after we both returned. This is just one of the messed up situations this demon did. He’s cheated, lied, abused me and was an alcoholic, sexaholic and he knew I was coming out of a marriage and only wanted to be loved. He preyed on me being a Christian woman, knowing I would forgive and forgive and ask God to help only for him to continue to do what he wants. He’s in the navy, beware!

I'm so truly sorry to hear this. Though not all military service people aren't bad apples, I'm sorry that the one you were with was this heartless. You are more than a conqueror and God's precious jewel! Blessings of healing and strength during your new journey of progress and renewed life. You are loved 🙏🏾

My dad was in the navy. He died before I was born but was the best person in the world to my mother and his immediate family. So glad I know great things of him.

I think the problem is that women are wanting to be loved however we do not know what exactly that looks and feels like. Many of our fathers we not only out of the home but unknown. Meaning he never was around. The family doesn't provide that love neither does the community. So we try to mimic what we see in entertainment and confuse that with love. Some of our mothers become so jealous of us as teen girls, we're forced out of the home at a very young age. Our homes can be so toxic that we actually seek a better way. It's sad buy it is a reality. Many of us fall into these traps as young women why? Where is the family influence? The uncles, brothers, male cousins, father's, grandfather's? Where are these men whom are to protect us from these predators?

This is such a painful message... especially to those growing up with absent fathers. The first stages of mental health start at a very young age. Thank you for sharing 🙂
