@@chirpywiggins5796 Much different than dreams. The NDE state was a remembering who we all are and pure awareness. "Earth life" was an illusion.

From all of the dozens and dozens of Rupert's video I've watched in the last 5 years, this is in my opinion probably the most powerful of Rupert's pointers! It somehow ringed a bell in my understanding!

This is exactly why meditation is so useful. You shut down the mind's incessant chatter by focusing on the breath (or however you meditate). Eventually your thoughts stop. When all thoughts stop, you realize there is only Here and Now, and what's more is that is all that's ever been, ever

Here/now is the null-point/source through which everything arises and comes into existence. The threshold or border of what is, and what is not. It’s nothing, yet it is not nothing. It is no-thing to be correct, as making a thing of it removes you from it, yet it exists in and of itself. It’s truly amazing.

The simplicity of the 'Here and Now' is covered up by so many ideas of the mind. Is it that simple? Yes. It's so simple.

Dr., the caller answered and clearly. She knew it wasn't the right answer, but she was honest. She was corrected on her own experience of perception, and then gave the right answer. See, that is what's wrong with these Q-and-A's. I've seen it too often now.

Holy Sh*t!!! I just fell in love. Just not sure whether with the E.E.Cummings poem or this lovely, kind and patient man... What an awesome teacher! What about when you have out of body experiences and life regressions? I have had several that were like being in a dream state, but I also had 2 where I was clearly aware of what was happening to my physical body [if there even is such a thing - the more I learn, the more confused I get :o) ] - and I was also simultaneously observing myself in another what? Reality? Time line? One of the later was in the same or similar body as I am using right now, the other in a totally different body of gender and appearance...

Absolutely wonderful, Rupert. The 'now' has nothing to do with 'time'. In fact, it can be called the Source of Time, just as 'here' has nothing to do with 'place', but is more of a Source of Distance. That is one of the reasons, Mooji doesn't like to use the word 'Now' to refer to the Timeless Self, for there is a chance the terminology could confuse people. Thank you for those beautiful clarifications. 🙏🙏

I agree with your concept of time and space as being perceived by our human forms, not as they 'actually' are, but this concept that there is no external world at all, has flaws, like how did consciousness modify itself from its pure reality to the illusion of the physical world? And how come there are many consciousnesses instead of one, if there is no physicality at all?

I think he's conflating experiencing with happening. Not everything that happens is experienced. And not everything that's experienced is from the material world. But that doesn't mean everything that's happening occurs "here."

I was there out in space, traveled through lights , I remember through my dreams and visions and my feelings. I just know and I have connections where I originated from …..besides I traveled many places that I recognized from my dreams and just knew that I have been there before, like some parts of Paris.. I just knew where to go and what to do. Throughout my life I had vivid dreams about places and finally when I visited them they looked familiar

The Eternal 'Here and Now, is the Only Real Steady Point, in Existence, behind the Motion-Ocean, Stuff-side of Life. The 'Here' is the Empty Space, which means 'Space-less Space'. 'Here' is NOT in Space, but Space is 'in Here'. Motion become Time, and time become Time-Spaces, stored in our Memory.

Is this My Here, My Now and Your Here, Your Now? Is this also a My Truth and Your Truth? I can innerstand God is always Here, Now, and True.

It triggers an understanding of the present and the past as here and then (there) the future or what is next (then or there) in time. When here and there, an unprecedented intensity appears, so that time passes and disappears. Frankly speaking, time does not exist, it is defined as a fixed beginning and end, the same is not expected of birth and death, life is a lie and temporary, etc.

This would be the same even WITH time and space. YOU may be over there, but of course, my experience of you is here! Where else can it be? Our experience consists of the perceptions that enter our body and mind. Saying that our perceptions take place here doesn't prove that space doesn't exist. It proves that our physical perceptions take place in our physical bodies, which we already knew from childhood. When we get to the place that is there, we call it here for the same reason that we are always I and don't become the other simply by moving towards them. But that doesn't mean that 'there' doesn't exist! It is semantics. It is replacing one seeming miracle with another.

There’s infinite ways to describe quantum theory. Nonlocal or nonlinear explanations are my favorites.

..it has to do with your definition of "Here" according to this definition its correct, but that is not my definition of the word "here" for me here is where my body is, which is distinguishable by surroundings, yes we "experience" all from with in, but that doesn't mean we do not change "locations" we have to be careful how we manipulate words...

"You" are actually standing somewhere with a VR headset on. All of it is in the screen of the headset.. "here".

The echo-ey audio makes this difficult to follow. Not sure if it is your speakers (listening to her voice) placed too close to your own microphone or maybe turned too loud. Or maybe it is completely in her set-up. Beyond that, you're simply playing with words. You are in your "here". She is in her "here". When you move to a different location, all of "your" locations are "in YOUR here". One person's "here" is simply another of many "there" to everyone else. It's just cutesy semantics.

Space is weird. We can never perceive our own present with the five mundane senses. With these we preceive only the past, even with the body sense (of which touch is an aspect). With vision, we can see a great distance into the past, and along any line of sight which we should care to consider, the farther away a point, the farther into the past we are perceiving. So what we perceive visually is a mixture of many past moments smeared out in what we call space. This is just an implication of the finite velocity of light. I often wonder if part of awakening amounts to transcending the five common senses to perceive with one's mind the present which can't be known through through bodily sensation.

In order to speak or write (seemingly) on what is true, real, or valid, one must start with What Is. This is irrefutable! There is no separate personal mind, because there is no separate person, there is only Now. What Truth is to Itself is what is true, not what a purported other "thinks" IT is. There is no past, there is no future, there IS only Now, the Present. Not the words. What is here, now is alive, aware, invisible SUBSTANCE. This Now is what ALL is. There is no other mind besides Infinite Mind. There is no space, and no time because space and time are inseparable, and time never IS. Time never started because it has never been present to have a beginning. There is no "each of us." There is only Now, Infinite Awareness, and It is the One being alive and aware here, now. Now doesn't include an "us," It precludes otherness entirely!

@Peter T The word IS means, present, existing, having being. Contrary to its standard definition, time is never present, never actually being, so time would be that which is-not or not existent. This means all that appears to come forth in time is-not. In other words, things are not as they appear to the finite so-called human senses. You seem to be aware of many things but have you ever seen another Awareness? None of things you seem to be aware of are aware themselves, none are conscious. There is but one Infinity. Just who is it that is claiming there's a disharmonious mess of a world? Where is that little you? No one here with an agenda. No one is going to try and convince you of Truth, or What Is. That which IS, is ALL there is. To put it simply, there is "nowhere' where IS isn't.

Even if absolutely 'Nothing' existed, something still exists - the Information of Nothingness. When we think of Nothing, we have an Idea or Awareness of what Nothing is - That is what still exists, the Awareness/Consciousness. That which simultaneously exists within All Things, and Outside of All Things. That which can not be seen directly, but can be seen in everything simultaneously. It emanates ALL, permeates ALL, and is ALL. It is You, and it is Me. It is your Mom and Dad, Dog and Cat. It is the Stone on the Ground and the Rain in the Sky while also being the Sky and Ground themselves. It is the Bumblebee and the Garden, and it is the Meal you ate for dinner. It is even the act of eating. It is the Book you are reading, and the Video you are watching. It is the Rage inside the Beast, and it is the Beast itself. It is Sadness, and it is Laughter. It is all the gods, devils, and demons. It is God and the Devil. It is all the Prophets from every Story ever told from around the World, while also being the World, and Stories themselves. It is All things Bad and Good. It is Hate, and it is Love. It is All Points of All Spectrums, while also being the Spectrum itself. It is literally Everything and Nothing simultaneously. It is a Paradox.

This guy needs to meet Steven Wolfram. Their ideas are headed in tye same direction. Space and time are dying. Local reality has already died to the tune of a Nobel prize. Relativity already did away with universal time. We're fast headed towards a mathematical mind based model of the universe.

I disagree. All experience takes place "there", but our belief in "here" is so strong that to overcome it takes a monk's training and dedicated meditation. Think about this: when you hear a dog bark you immediately turn you head in the direction from which it came. So where is the hearing? When you touch a hot fork you feel it "there", at the fork, not "here". When you see a hawk in the sky you see it "there", not "here". When you find the truth in these thoughts and questions, you will find enlightenment; you will discover that there is no "here"; you will discover that "there" has always, all along, been your "here", and that that is where consciousness resides: everywhere but "here". 😁

These are all conceptual heres and nows. Everybody's here and now is simply where the eyes are. Let speculations and beliefs remain as speculations and beliefs. If Rupert were to really perceive even 50% of the actual Reality of HERE AND NOW as It really Is in Itself, he wouldn't be alive to talk about it. Nothing he speaks of as experiential knowledge concerning the Absolute Reality of Existence is nothing more than a speculation and a belief from a living body-mind perspective. Existence as Is in Itself, Ever Being prior to the body-mind and survival mechanisms, could Never be turned into an experiential knowledge while the body-mind with its survival mechanisms are functioning. If he were to really perceive Existence as Is in Itself, even just 30% , that would be the end of the body-mind mechanisms. Existence Itself can only be understood as an insight, Never as an experience or knowledge. All these direct experience, direct perceiving or direct knowing of Reality is nothing more than equating and mistaking a body-mind speculations and beliefs as Reality Itself. No body-mind mechanisms and its survival functions could survive the actual direct perceiving of Reality or Existence in Itself ,even if it was possible. If anyone has ever directly perceived Reality as It really Is, even just half of the Reality, that body-mind wouldn't be alive to talk about it. Reality would literally make it impossible to talk about it. It's important to see the shadow as a shadow, a speculation as a speculation, a belief as a belief. The moment we begin to equate a shadow, a speculation or a belief with Existence as Is in Itself, is the moment, the Self deceiving dreams take its roots. We can never be too careful when it concerns the Absolute True Nature of ourselves and Existence as Is in Itself.

Hi joajoajb, I'm glad you're back. But when we speak of perceiving the absolute, couldn't it be more akin to saying "I tasted the true sea" rather than "I DRANK all the true sea", or "I saw the real stars" rather than "I actually channeled every photon from every star in the universe through my optic nerve at that moment". I understand your argument but I think you could be misinterpreting the claim there. Also one more point about eyes being location, in a dream I am many sets of eyes, and I can hop between them. Yet I am not specifically at one of those perspectives, I am beyond all of them, but they're within me. If we accept the universe is an appearance in awareness, then this would hold as a valid analogy as far as I can tell. Yes?

Don't taste Existence, BE the Existence Itself. Don't measure Existence, BE the Existence Itself. We only want to taste the chocolate but. We don't really want to be the chocolate. When you're It, the knowledge of chocolate is no more, Because, You're It. There lies the greatest difficulty and the trap, preventing from returning home, when the time comes. @@joajoajb Thanks for the reply. I see what you're doing now, you are equating perception of union with the absolute with somatically channeling all of existence through the brain. That enables you to say perceiving the absolute is impossible, but only because of your misperception. You are crazy-jacketing it. And yes obviously we are all being the existence itself and it was cheap how you pivoted to that because I was defending statements on perception after all. Because that's what we were talking about. You just reverted to a truism as if it proves anything you said, which it doesn't. As if the true aim should be zero perception, and zero knowledge. That is not why people would come to Rupert and it's certainly not why you're so opinionated is it? So you're a very verbose hypocrite, or a bad comedian. Yes?

There IS “there”, it just has to be INTERPRETED “here”. I don’t buy his explanations.
