the pineapple core has a lot of vitamin C and bromine and antioxidants it does taste bitter but you have to eat it with the sweet pineapples but it will not hurt you I've eaten it before thank you be blessed blessed blessed and blessings

You never cut the core out! The core has a high concentration of bromelain. The core is delicious and should be eaten as well.

I stick it in potting soil in a planter and water the soil lightly then within a week or two in a sunny location it should take root and start to thrive. Mine eventually grew a little pineapple after a couple of years. It was a sweet surprise indeed.

It's fine to eat the core. My friends have started me with eating mango skin too. You just need to make sure the pesticides are removed.
