I wonder why Doug never even mentions Ford GT90. My personal favourite and dream car of all time for sure. And definitely feels like a car that doug would go nuts about.

The Ford GT90 is basically a concept car, actually I would go as far as to say it is/was a concept, built 3 you say? And i bet someone with extremely deep pockets and heavy influence was able to pry one out of Ford's clenched unwilling hands.

Who else agrees that having Kennan in these garage videos is better than having him in the reviews? Doug, please keep the reviews solo.

LOL this video was amazing. We finally get to see how Doug is with his buddies, and the video is hilarious, yet insanely informative. Both knowledgeable dudes giving us a bit of history, but doing it kind of like drunk history style. I like it a lot. In the car reviews, Kennan in the passenger seat and both just goofing off about the cars are the best part of those reviews. Seeing anyone bouncing ideas and thoughts off of each other on a topic both dudes are passionate about is pretty cool to see.

I've always loved the idea of having a car with a start sequence of flipping that switch, turning this knob, then a couple more switches, etc. I think that would be so cool, not to mention a decent theft deterrent!

I’m surprised no one mentioned the Mazda Furai concept. I loved that car to death, the most unique design with an NA Renesis rotary engine. I used to run that car in the 24h of Le Mans in GT5

If you don’t want to review anymore than just walk away but car reviews by someone else on Doug Demuros channel just won’t work. I think he’s bringing his buddies in now to expand the channel and do things he wants and just have some fun,

So cool seeing Doug be himself outside of the reviewer persona he's built over time. fun video!

I jumped with joy when Doug mentioned the P1 GTR (because I knew Doug would name this very car) and when Kennan mentioned the Lexus LFA (because it is my favourite car of all time). I've been watching Doug since 2018, and I think that's why I could guess what car he would name next. Also, Doug, please don't call the LFA 'over-valued'. It is the pinnacle of Japanese engineering - an absolute marvel that took 10 years to come to life. And of course, I can't forget how it sounds.

Looking at the concept cars part of the video, I think it would be cool if you guys talked about your favorite concept cars that you would've loved were made

The Columbus... I remember reading everything I could find about this monster when it was being hyped. It was designed to be a shuttle for business executives. They could have meetings, power their laptops and had a space for a couple of secretaries. And yes, the chauffer had a center driving position to help because of it's size.

I saw the Columbus for the first time in mid 90's in the picture included to a chewing gum named 'TURBO'. You can still buy this gum in Europe. 😃

I’m loving these videos where Doug has someone to bounce off of! Kennan is a great addition to the channel.

In the vein of crazy weird concept cars, I’m surprised Doug never mentioned the Italdesign Aztec, which looks like a Star Wars landspeeder, or the IAD Alien, which was my favorite Hot Wheels car as a kid, and I still have it on my desk.

Interesting to see Italdesign used a lot of cues from Columbus into later designing Cala, which then became the template for Gallardo.

I love that yall mentioned the Exelero. I think it's one of the most interesting project cars ever existed. The car was commissioned by a tire company and there is actually some review videos of that car.

Just this week I was reminiscing about that W12! From around that same period of Top Gear, I think, I've always wanted to drive the Koenigsegg CCX. The magic for me was watching the Stig lose control of it, saying it needed some better aero. Then a few weeks later Koenigsegg sends the CCX back with, for the time especially, a hilariously small wing and the Stig set a lap record. I felt like that moment, and that car, are really what put the CCX (and Koenigsegg) into icon status to me.

The Columbus was so named because it came out in 1992, the 500th anniversary of Columbus' first trip to the Americas. Also, it apparently is actually ON DISPLAY in the Italdesign museum, at least as of a couple of years ago. If somebody could get the cargo volume behind the last row of seats for the Columbus, it would be greatly appreciated. I've looked and looked, but I can't find it. (I want to write about it in a novel)

Incredibly, the Columbus apparently DID run, with a five-speed manual. And it was less a minivan and more of a full-size van (a la E-series or Sprinter). It was intended for mass-production, and would have been a cut-away behind the upper level. Also, the lower-level seats swiveled (and each seat had its own VHS). @@marcelhannover3 Look at the insignia on the rear flank. The white shape forming the "C" has a red Maltese Cross. That represents the sail on Columbus' ships, which also had a red Maltese Cross. edit: How did this not post and just sit here as a draft for months?

@@00Zy99 In many european languages they call this type of vehicle a bus (or minibus, small bus etc.) - "van" is also used but more associated with cargo though both are often used interchangable. However I am quite sure in this case they must have thought what is a great name for this bus... and someone in the team came up with columBUS, possibly because they read about the 500 year anniversary. It is hard to imagine that they wanted to honour columbus and then came up with this.

Kennan seems to have shed stage fright and to be really enjoying his part. He's actually a perfect foil to Doug's eccentric side. That said, I think the ItalDesign Columbus is truly fascinating, but the. again I'm a Citroën tifoso and a FIAT Multipla fan.

The Columbus reminds me of Homer's car design from The Simpsons.

I think an Italdesign Columbus review would be Doug's apex video. He could comfortably retire after that, knowing he's seen it all.

Because kennan in the reviews is having a 0 personality. He seems so dull & he basically copies Doug in every way possible, which is very annoying! He is fine in the garage talks but the reviews should stay as before, only Doug himself should be the presenter.

I've really been enjoying these garage collaboration videos, probably more so than your regular content. I feel the growing pains in some of the dual host reviews but I'm still really enjoying them too. I've noticed that the comments have been pretty strongly against the shift so i just wanted to add my feelings as a viewer who doesn't feel negatively about the changes.

I nearly fell in love with the Cien concept thanks to Gran Turismo. I can’t remember if it was the second or third game, but once I unlocked it I rarely drove anything else

The Excellero might drive nicely. It was used to test Fulda tires at high speed on the Papenburg raceway. It is capable of more than 300kmh and back then the only car that weighted more than 2 tonnes that could do that.

Not just used, it was built to test those tyres and it topped 350kph. Fulda wanted a really fast heavy car for testing so asked Maybach to build one. Jay Z bought it and SupercarBlondie drives it in one of her videos.

It's redundant technology. Being happy and having fun in THOSE cars is statement - 'I will pay millions to listen to this awesome "broom broom" sound.' It's a different dynamic for normal people in normal cars as they not be able to afford to be early adopters.

These are great! I wish you did more on a single shot and released them everyday there isn't a main video to fill the gaps of the week.

Whippersnapper's are too young to remember the first true one-off hypercar. The 1978 Andy Granatelli turbine Corvette. Almost 1200lbs of torque, Idled at 60, a claimed 2.5 sec 0-60, and 1/4 mile burn-outs! And street legal. ; - )

The Italdesign Columbus would actually be a really cool motor-home. You’ve got two generously sized spaces, lots of light in the upper one for more social activities, and lots of space in the lower level for a big bed and a kitchen and closet and everything you could need

We just gotta get used to the fact that Doug has a partner now in his videos.

I was really hoping one of you would mention the Suzuki Escudo rally/race car. The one with two engines. I used to make that thing go airborne in Gran Turismo back in the day. That should be Kennan’s track car experience.

After Doug mentioned the Cadillac Cien thought of 2 similar cars that should be on this list. 1: Ford GT90, it has a 5.9 liter, quad turbo V12 with 730 horsepower. It looks completely insane. 2: Lotec C1000, one off car made for a Saudi Arabian royal. It has a 1000 horsepower V8 and can supposedly go 268mph. I have actually seen this car.
