I made this video to illustrate what could go wrong with AI Girlfriends in the coming AI future. Watch to the end to see short music video.

Comes from the movie the Terminator.
The clip is taken from the animated series Hercules.
The episode 27 "Hercules and the Dream Date" November 2, 1998:
Hercules is unable to find a date for the upcoming Aphrodesia Dance. Inspired by Pygmalion, he sculpts a statue of a young woman and pleads with Aphrodite to bring it to life and be "crazy about him". She reluctantly agrees, naming the young woman Galatea (Jennifer Aniston). However, Galatea becomes increasingly obsessed with Hercules and will do anything to be with him.

ah ye, you mean they voiced the characters in this episode right? Aphrodite and Galatea?
The animation in this was SO GOOD, esp for a tv series. Not the same as the original ofc, but it's so fluid and full of personality (unlike ai gfs)

This episode specifically had really good animation, the rest of the series was just okay for the time, which was still pretty good.

oh yes this series was really amazing! good old days hehe 😊 And ye, they AI animations right now is a bit off, but who knows what it will look like in the future :O We will have to wait and see. It could be wild.

@kaptenr3 frankly I hope it's not looking too good, AI is already feeding off of itself, and it's not very profitable for companies. It's for the best though, indie animation is revolutionary right now, and AI is too artificial.

@@riotbreaker3506 I see. Ye the AI cannot get any better if it feeds off of itself. It needs something that tells it from "right" and "wrong". So it get's trained towards something, whatever it is.
That's what you get when all you care about is hotness...and forget about the personality.

yes, but I wonder how many more people will make this mistake in the future? Might be very common...
I don't think it's a coincidence that we got a quote from the Terminator in this episode. "Come with me if you want to live". The episode actually saw this creation of Galatea a bit as a AI / Terminator lifeform.
Batman beyond had a very similar episode but the AI girlfriend went berserk when lets me remember Sheldon I think his name was, rejected her when he got popularity.

hehe yeah. And that sounds about right what humans are. Hercules in this episode is perfect example of how humans usually act 😋

Plus there is a second message to this episode that it okay to be single as being single helps you learn to better understand a love life and a Relationship a lot better as Rushing things will end up getting you in hot water if you take shot cuts

No you can keep the personality, just work on the physical apparatus for now. Some simple communication and reactions will do just fine, none of the bullshit.

i am not anti AI though. I actually really like the AI development. This is just a kinda thought experiment thing. Also what if the "off button" is hidden? Or hard to turn off?
