Nah that would have been a whole joke on it's own. Like he fixes the pencil when the guy is right about something, but breaks it when he's wrong.

Really his only confirmed kills in the first film are Dr. Hill (albeit with the bad decision to resurrect him just to see if desperate parts can be re-animated) and those pencils. Rufus is a bit more ambiguous

Chesterson Jack theres a decent fandom online.. but its mushed together with the rest of 80s scifi/horror as well as newwave. I know a decent group of people online who love reanimator.
