Herb Dean Revisits Lawler vs. Askren

Спорт

At UFC 235, Herb Dean was the referee of a Welterweight bout between Robbie Lawler and Ben Askren. But the anticipated matchup had an early ending due to a controversial stoppage from Dean. Lawler was stuck in a submission attempt from Askren when it appeared he couldn't properly defend himself. But when the fight was stopped Lawler immediately protested the result believing he was fine and wasn't in jeopardy of being submitted. Dean would speak to Joe Rogan a month later and explain his reasoning for stopping the fight. #herbdean #joerogan #shorts #ufc #robbielawler #benaskren

Big John is a top class referee, but his mma opinions etc are wayyyy off base its crazy to think he refereed the elite. Just goes to show the professionalism he has. Cause he is an absolute donkey outside the octagon. Marc Goddard is the Don of all refs.
