I know it's over and done with and it passed (congrats) but they usually need to test the cat at running temperature anyway as cold start adds fuel and runs rich etc so they have to test the car once everythig is up to temp. I think you MOT is a bit more in depth than our Pink Slip in NSW which is a fairly basic road worthy certificate we need each year for cars over 5 years old.

Did you fit full new HID compatible lamps with the HID's? Should have failed if you didn't haha.

Nope stock housing. If they are adjusted correctly you'll pass.

Sorry mate but it should have failed. Passed my MOT course last year. The lamps need to be compatible with the bulbs as I said. Tester was either lenient as they knew you or they don't know how to do their job.
