Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. is welcomed to Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire in traditional style today by the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Accompanying the men from the 2nd Scots was their mascot, Cruachan IV, a five-year-old Shetland gelding / Její Veličenstvo královna Alžběta II. byla dnes uvítána na Balmoral Castle v Aberdeenshire v tradičním stylu Královským regimentem Skotska. Jako doprovod byl jejich maskot, Cruachan IV, pět let starý Shetlandský valach.

To watch this now four years later it is rather bittersweet knowing the queen is now gone to be with her husband, mother, father, and sister. May she Rest In Peace. And the last scene we will remember after her being lowered into her final resting place is a single bagpiper playing a soliloquy while walking out and away.
I just think the Queen is so stylish and appears so welcoming.
My father was a member of the Canadian Forestry Corps. His company was baser near Aboyne. In september 1941, he and hundreds other canadian soldiers were invited to Balmoral for a Royal Salute. This event however, took place on a large ground in front of the castle.
The Queen is wonderful, an example to us all of how we should conduct ourselves. Perfectly polite, never gets in trouble....
There may be those that disagree. For Pomp & Circumstance our friends across the pond still remain the very best at it.

On the Day of the Queen’s Coronation, a very Good Friend of Mine, was Presented with her General Service Medal (Malaya) whilst Serving In the RAF in Singapore. She was 22 Years old.
The children's comments are worth all the others. They should be proud of their dads.
