The noise is caused by the EVAP canister purge valve being defective. Seen this a lot mostly on Ford's. Makes for a good laugh lol.

That halo like effect is called a Sun Dog or a Parhelion, it’s a phenomenon commonly found in areas with lots of snow fall and it’s usually caused due to the ice crystals in the clouds or the atmosphere. It’s amazing to look at.

The farting noise gives new meaning to gassing the car.

as a former Ford mechanic, that farting was common on cars with the "Cap-Less" style of gas tank fill-tube. faulty EVAP purge valve, i did a LOT of replacements of these across multiple Ford models, and i heard it was relatively common on other makes as well (probably the same base part being used in many, many different cars across multiple makes, happens a lot more than you'd think in the auto industry) sometimes this will pop a check-engine light too, at the time i was doing these, a lot of these Purge Valve replacements were done under warranty at the dealerships too iirc.

I love that the dog in the bathroom is not concerned or annoyed he's just vibin

I remember one failed go-karting attempt where I tried to turn but somehow managed to not only hit the barrier, but also taking it down entirely, actually stopping a good half a meter outside the track. For those who are wondering why was her car farting, its because gasoline makes a vapor and that vapor needs to get out, there is a pipe called the Evap pipe that allows that vapor to get out. For her that pipe is blocked and the high pressure is causing the gases to escape from the gas filler neck, causing the farting noise

Seeing that young lady walk onto an area that looks solid but is not, whoa - - glad that she wasn’t hurt. I’ve seen several KZread videos about how this happens. There is so much rainfall that the ground can’t absorb it, so it builds up under the grass. These do not always break, even when jumped on!! The person filming must have seen others do the same thing and decided to film this. Edit: the night and day scene was wow! My military husband has told me about this type of occurrence. You can see the half that is daytime, but when you look over far enough to the side - - it’s night.

1:12 Had a similar situation like that when I was at Andretti's Kart Racing back on my senior trip in high school. My first time in a go-kart race and originally I was in the back but someone far ahead on the track turned rather too soon and crashed into the wall. One of the flag wavers waved a caution flag but the other drivers didn't know what it meant (they didn't pay attention to the instructions) and they wound up crashing into not just that one driver but into each other back to back, slowly creating a traffic jam. Myself and a couple of others that pulled up quickly drove around without any problem and I couldn't laugh because I was too focused on the race but I did let out a small snicker and shook my head. Ended up coming in 3rd place. Good times.

Fun fact: The ring formation that we see around the sun in that clip is what's called a 'sundog!' The first clip is a common ford issue (well, what isnt). Its not always audible, but it was to do with pressure building up and being released. Ford now has a semi-sealed design where vapors are controled by a solenoid in the evap system, that loves to fail for no good reason. Ford also likes to intall crap parts and not have accurate parts listings.

one thing i like about daily dose's community is how all experts from around the world meet to watch these videos together. i don't have to google anything. a car person answered the farting car video's question of why it happened. and another person gave the answer about the reflective light in the snow. great to see everyone come together!

Lmaooo my fusion did that before I traded it in. Needed a new purge valve. Can happen from old age/high milage or overfilling gas tank constantly. Next step is it cuts off randomly on the road because the engine isn't getting enough fuel.
