For me, the best quality for the likes of Pires, Henry, Bergkamp, Ljungberg, and Fabregas is their decision making capability. They seem to always know when to pass, shoot, or dribble. Their calmness made them look like they have all the time in the world when in reality they only had a split second to decide. Compare them with the likes of Walcott and Chamberlain. Those two have the complete opposite quality. Even with all the space and time they had on the ball, they seem to consistently managed to ended up caught in a limbo.

Dee Emm he means specifically that year. And tbh Ronaldinho was obviously unplayable on his day and the most skilful and tantalising player I’ve seen, but Henry was more consistent than Ronaldinho and over a longer period, providing both goals and assists.

GospelGuy Fergie didn't beat Arsenal most of the time. Head to head from 96-06 which is prime Wenger, he had the better of Fergie most times. Arsenal were usually beating Utd more than they did to Arsenal. Even some trophies they won were due to us bottling it

I had a season ticket from rioch,Graham and wenger times and I'm so lucky I saw some of the best players ever and saw us lift so many tropheys.

I’ve supported Arsenal for 51 years and my dad taught me all about our proud history. I remember meeting Jack Kelsey in the club shop on my 7th birthday and also watching Brady, Sunderland, Talbot etc etc train on Highbury the very same day. Terry Neil spotted me and dad trying to peak through the old clock end gate and invited us to watch training. Legend. But for me, Henry is the best ever player I’ve watched by some distance, my best pal (a Liverpool fan) was at this game and the Scouse fans gave him a standing ovation that day. Think that says it all.

Watched this game over the years so many times I’ve lost count and it still gives me goosebumps

That Arsenal team was legendary, so much power, pace and creativity

That vertical lofted pass from Pires for 1st goal assist was simply out of world. The same for last goal assist from Dennis. We don't have one player in Arsenal today with that vision or creativity.

And cheated out of a 50th unbeaten by Wayne Rooney and Mike Riley..... I still believe Riley took a bung, because - even now - when you look at the footage some of his decisions are still inexplicable. Reyes was targeted in rota by the Nevilles and Scholes (which they readily admit to) and Ferdinand should have got a straight red and wasn't even booked. Either money changed hands or Riley was scared of Fergie. Disgraceful, whatever the reason.
