(1964) Mirror of America includes a wide swath of the Ford Collection, including notable personalities of the day such as Thomas Edison, Buffalo Bill Cody, and the humorist Will Rogers. The resulting film demonstrates how the Ford film collection is a “mirror” of American life from the middle 1910s through the 1920s.
This film reflects on the American way of life from 1914-1921, presenting a cross-sectional view of people and progress, and picturing the daily activities, dress, and habits of people as they lived fifty years ago.
