the torch lighting up in your hand is due to your shaders! i’d probably still put some on the walls as you go

I’m 52, and I play regularly on my Steam Deck. About 10 years ago, I ran a home server for my kids. (Obviously, that makes me a fan of the Java version.)

I started playing Minecraft around 2012 when I was 11, which makes me 22 now. Minecraft was basically my childhood, and I hop back into it from time to time. Love your content btw!

I am 44 and I play Minecraft from time to time. And whenever I come across coal, I find myself saying “coal makes steel, Homer” either in my head or out loud. Most of the time in my head though. Lol.

I remember the last episode, so glad you’re continuing this. Henry is still in the cobblestone hideout! Lol

Im 23 this year and have been playing Minecraft allllll the way since like 1.2.2, sometime in around 2011-2013. Its a nice game to hop on every now and then with some friends and mess around!

I definitely play Minecraft. Being born in the 80s means I got started early on the video games with my Apple II computer and games like Montezuma’s Revenge, Olympic Decathlon, and Lemonade Stand.

just in case you were curious, it’s actually the shader you installed that lets the torch in your free hand light up around you. It should be a part of the unmodified game though, very convenient. Also wow, that emerald find was impressive. Oddly enough they’re significantly rarer than diamonds.

Pillagers are probably "Sitting around fire eating beans", please tell me that is a Blazing Saddles reference. 😂

I'm happy to see a new one of the minecraft videos. I revisit your first one sometimes so I love this. I play console minecraft. I just turned 27. I started playing PC minecraft way back when it first started. Still great aside from the console performance issues. Probably just my system 🤷‍♂️

I think I started playing Minecraft when I was around 4-5 or back in 2010.

Purchased the game back in '09 before it had officially released. There has been so much added to the game since then. My gaming rig gave up the ghost 5 years ago, and it hasn't been in the cards to get a new one, so it's been awhile since I played it. Guess I'll just watch you play it and relax.

I’m going to be 30 this year and been playing since I was 19 or so. I’ve never gotta really big into it but I’ve played through and beat the dragon once or twice. The rest has mostly been just messing around in free play mode or playing with my nieces.

If you don't want cave sounds you can turn them off in audio settings.
