Nice shave Paul and beautiful brushes, I have a couple of Rich's brushes myself, excellent craftsmanship. Wonderful rose's display today, thanks again to Mrs H as always. Soap looks good and scent sounds intriguing, never tried this brand. SOTD: PAA "La Tierra Mojada" soap/splash and EDP, Paladin custom badger brush, Blackland "ERA" razor w/Personna Red blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm....Glorious. Have a great week ahead and enjoy today's smooth shave. (BTW, I leave my door open while shaving and have an audience also, my cats watch me with curiosity but never bother anything. I think the strong scents keep them at bay😉)

Hi Paul S.O.T.D my new EJ 3D I already have a DE89 which was in my EJ starter kit I bought when I first returned to DE shaving but it has the long handle😅. I prefer a shorter handle. I get a better shave better control. I have used it twice with new Feather blades and I'm very pleased. Today I am trying it with an Astra..I did consider a 3one6 but was put off by the long thin handle. Mark at Friendship shaving did a comparison and couldn't tell any difference between the 89 and 3one6 shave. Soap The imitation Tabac vegan version it was a bad day when they dropped the tallow unless there is health issues and now MWF has taken the same route. I haven't as yet found a vegan soap that gives the luxurious lather a tallow soap does. Hope you enjoy your afternoon tea. Regards to you both. Keep well and keep safe.

I learned from a good friend about the Intensity of scent's! He is graduate beauician here in Croatia! Creams, soaps, aftershaves with an intense fragrance are made from fragrance oils of synthetic origin! Because the natural fragrance oils can only reach a certain level of intensity! And thanks to Lowri for that beautiful Roses & Other's Bouquet! Have a great Sunday!

My SOTD, the original Miami Nights shave soap from South Florida Wet Shavers. Bought about 5 years ago now. No longer available. I wonder how similar this version is. I’ll have to pick it up when it comes available.

SOTD will be Stirling Soap Barbershop scent, lavender WH, Barbershop aftershave splash, and Nivea post shave balm. Traveling from Akron, Oh. back to Bowling Green, Oh., so lunch will be on the road.😊

Good morning Paul and Mrs. H. Its a scorcher today in the Harz mountains and while I have some new soaps to try, I knew what I had to do for my morning shave. I started with PAAs original 'The Cube'. The menthol started the cooling tingles. I whipped up some Margaritas in the Arctic by Stirling in my bowl and my Eberbart badger brush. Incredible lather and a scent that made my wife make compliments. I used a Big Ben blade in my Merkur 15C. 3 pass BBS, with Alum and Thayers cucumber. Followed it up with a few splashes of Osage Rub - wonderful tingles. Lastly, a nice layer of Nivea Active Energy balm. I'm still enjoying the cooling sensation of today's shave. We will do BBQ with homemade potato salad today. Wishing all a great Sunday and a wonderful week ahead. Peace to all!

Good morning, Paul and Mrs.H. It's gonna be a hot day here in Flanders-Belgium so my shave will be a full Proraso Green from pré till finish. The razor: EdwinJagger 3one6 with a Personna platinum blade. Have a good day !

The problem I have with this bowl is that I either get a lather that's too pasty and/or thick or it's more on the loose side but with A LOT of small bubbles. I mean I can shave in either case, the quality is there but it's kinda annoying that I can't dial it in the way I want it. And I have tried almost every kind of hair, even synthetic. I think the Yaqi one is way better even if it's Chinese and less expensive!

Because you asked. Gillette 1920s open comb,handled w/yaqi Marino, tonic bay rum& JeCo amber synthetic(good backbones)shave brush. Enjoy your outing, thnx for what you do.

Hi Paul great shave as per usual. FYI, chinotto is pronounced “kinotto” and is a popular Italian soft drink that’s like a mixture of sweetish cola and bitters. Sounds like an interesting scent profile there. Have a great week.
