Thought this bald nestling was a pile of entrails, poor thing. Judging from the scattered feathers in the garden a cat caught a much larger bird today. All he could do was beg for food! Put him in a box with shredded tissues and kept him warm until a rescue service could come. Couldn't find a nest (the tree was too dense), lots of cats out so it was lucky to have lasted. Its mother wouldn't have been able to pick it up anyway.
