~Long live Winterwatch's foxes Fleet and Fennec!~
I don't feel like renaming all my old videos (=Rolf & Niam) so am posting what few photos I have to finally get Google hits... (+a few pinched from Brighton Uni and all the news articles etc. Too lazy to even screencap better ones).
Sadly Fennec's been gone for two weeks now too... so as we may not get any more footage of the pair I'm posting this in tribute.
This is actually a totally anonymous account but since Fleet's now (probably) the country's favourite fox I think public interest outweighs my halfbaked desire to lay low! (kinda totally failed at that by this point anyway). I was retiring this and moving to www.dailymotion.com/furry_friends anyway.
(Funnily enough, this is the second feature I've had a hand in on the Telegraph's website (unbeknownst to them - they posted my Lou Reed one a few months back)).
Oh yeah, music is Seek Life by Zan-zan-zawa-veia, as always (good fit and too lazy to think of anything else).
It's been a real honour spending time with this lovely pair and I'm glad some people have even warmed to foxes, after seeing them in action.

I'd only had the camera a day when the good stuff happened, hadn't quite got the hang of it but really proud to have caught that. They get too close too! I felt bad for Rolf as I was ignoring him while filming, hope he didn't feel unloved :( Then there's the Panacur wormer that can't have been fun... Think I missed the boat on public interest. C'est la~
Oh yeah, I also filmed an extraordinary three-way fight in the street between some other uncollared (vixen?) foxes after Fleet left; standing on hind-legs, grabbing and yelling in each other's faces. Fleet and Fennec already took up twice as much time than in Autumnwatch, but maybe it'll be used for Springwatch.
