Help spread the word: on June 25, vote MeRA25!

The upcoming Greek general election on June 25 will be an opportunity to continue the fight against the cartels and oligarchs ruling over us. After four years of speaking out against their rule, inside and outside of the Greek Parliament, it will be up to the Greek people once more to decide whether they want this voice to continue to do so.
In this video, we recall MeRA25's presence inside the Greek parliament, focusing on some of the most important parliamentary contributions during the last four years.
If you're Greek and registered to vote, make your voice count on June 25.

@@sentientnatalie a greek communist and they have voted more than 40% of the current goverments policies as well as support the "green energy " plans of the eu as a whole also they arent condeming the imperialist role of nato but they focus the discussion on "its not needed anymore".They are an opportunist party that seeks to use the greek peoples anger for them to get elected they not only trust but embrace the capitalist state and they seek to become the managers of our current capitalist economy. They arent seen during strikes they arent seen anywhere during real class struggle driving out police from peoples homes like the communist party of greece(which increased to 7% from 5 while mera25 is at 2,5) fighting off the police who wanted to break off strikes toghter with the local portworkers who were striking. They are social democracts even if you dont examine them ideologically and what they have done with 4 years the candinates who you see on screen have all been to syriza or pasok(another social democrat party). They use peoples anger into harmless directions that benifit the system and they are activly using the "friendly" propaganda of socialism cant be achieved anymore we need a "united" "realistic""left" that accepts we will have to live and die and work for the rest of our lives for this rotten system

@@panoskatrin4910 Are you with the KKE? Okay, there is a fair bit I disagree with DiEM and MeRA with, I just felt some catharsis from seeing then shit on oligarchs though lol. Yanis Varoufakis, for example, shits on the Soviet Union and other current and former socialisms, I don't beyond the usual sensible self-crit communists should do, describing himself as a Libertarian Marxist. I get the feeling that he and the movement are more demsoc, according to their stated policies and his notion of "markets without capitalism". I strongly disagree with his notion that capitalism no longer exists and it's just "techno-feudalism" because those things that make up capitalism are still with us. I'm not a big fan of demsoc movements, suffice it to say. Socialism needs to be genuinely revolutionary, capitalists will never willingly give up their power. Now, I don't agree with all of the KKE's positions, such as social policy, but so long as they are doing proletarian class politics and anti-imperialism, they're at least on the right track, those are two, if not *the* two most critical things needing put front and centre right now globally. I think that green energy needs to be seriously considered, I, myself, favour nuclear energy until we can come up with something longer term, it is cleaner than fossil fuel, and more efficient. Look up Madi Hilly for more on that. I didn't know that that was their position on NATO. Anyway, thanks for your input, comrade. Btw, YT didn't want to show me your second comment, curious!

The power should be the people. We have to take control, on the streets, in the army, in the state, at parliaments, in economy through worker unions and in society. We are the people, and our fight is fought with passion like a fire, hopefully seeding the spark for others.

Do you think fighting for civil rights and economic rights simultaneously could provide a roadblock because the unity that is required by the working class could be stifled because some sections of the working class are racist and etc who aren't willing to vote for such a party because they grant civil rights to those they are racist and etc against, meaning this way neither the economic goals nor the civil rights get accomplished? What I'm asking is whether it could be better to focus solely on economic interests first?

If diem25 is content simply to organize cozy gatherings of like-minded people instead of local public education and civic movements in each country, then it is hoping to win class wars in pseudo-democracies without citizen participation, hoping that this will form A wave sweeping Europe and the world. If someone says that "the greenhouse effect must end immediately, there is not enough time to establish new political and economic institutions", I would like to ask: How can citizens do this without real political and economic power? If you are in a military dictatorship and diem25 is trying to gain military control, I think it can be a top-down reform, which is equivalent to the emergence of a dictator who is willing to give up his power and establish democracy
