Nice cover! Its more like the live version of Help, in which John used his electric Rickenbacker, rather than the studio version, where he uses an acoustic guitar. I actually prefer the live version, which you can find several videos online.

Fun fact this is the song that John lennon hated most of all. It was supposed to sound soulful like otis redding but the film producers wanted to wazz it up for the teeny bopper cinema audiences.

Lennon didn’t like the studio version of help, but the song itself was one of his favorites. he called the studio version “too fast” maybe if he lived longer we would have seen a later version that’s slower. For that being the song lennon’s most hated is incorrect that goes to “it’s only love” which he called “filler” and “horrible lyrics” Lennon said it was only made to hit the song quota.

Hate to call it but that's not 100% how Lennon plays that rhythm part. I know you're doing the "live" Blackpool Night Out version, but he's not playing it that basic. There's more nuanced playing involved. They also cut away too much to see what he's doing on many tunes in this broadcast, which is frustrating. I do incorporate some of the bass runs in his rhythm parts when descending in the chorus back to the pause before the verse. I do that because it sounds better. I've been playing rhythm for over 30 years because of Lennon. He never gets enough credit for his rhythm guitar work.

The song as is performed here and on the film help does not carry a tune. That is because lennon wrote the words as a tribute to otis redding and the song is intended to be delivered sadly and soulful, the only cover I have heard that resembles any truth to the songs origin is by Isaac Scott (big time blues man) Hope this helps.
