Seeing how it says US Air Force on the side, I say we call it "The Vet" or "Old Blue" but that will only work if you keep the blue.

I’d avoid the encapsulator, esp on the hood where it’s easy to see. That stuff is good for places you can’t get to but not a hood. You might as well do it right…take it down to bare metal and use phosphoric….then fair and repaint for a beautiful flat hood!

Since it’s a old Air Force truck how about General Hoss. Ol Blue if you were going to keep it blue maybe. 🤔
