Not because we were all mean racist, mysogynistic bullies, but because we all knew it was just that - jokes, and jokes meant to poke fun of stereotypes. and for the record I am LGBT so I know that almost noone like me is offended by those jokes. those who are offended and want to cancel those jokes are white liberal allies, who tells us what should we be insulted by.

I love how Alex Brightman gave Young fizz a less gravelly sound. It really helped establish how a lot of his “beetlejuice” sound was due to the fire. I fought every urge to play two minutes notice over the intercom when I left my last job.

Interesting thing about Fizz knowing sign language. Many people speculate that after the circus accident, he (albeit briefly) lost his voice along with his limbs and horns. Thus, he learned sign while recovering and when his voice came back, it sounded raspier and croaky

It also seems like broken horns = not functioning/no hearing. Imps dont have ears but the kid and Fizz before he recovered had broken horns. Just one seems to be Fizz being able to fully recover and the little kid was probably just born that way.

It seems that Imp biology has the horns as the auditory sensors, probably like a bony (heh heh, he said …bone…) external “eardrum” It’s highly probable that Fizz received hearing aids as part of his cybernetic reconstruction, his limbs are robotic, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that he also had hearing aids and some form of electronic voice box installed (hence his “froggy” tone to his voice.

There’s a crazy crazy crazy amount of foreshadowing when you go back and rewatch the show from the start and look for specific shit. For example, during The Circus, after baby Blitzø fails to make a balloon horse, baby Fizz jumps in and says “Hey everyone! Look at this!” to draw the audience attention away from Blitzø so he could recover. Look At This in Oops worked because that’s how Fizz has *always* covered their asses with those three little words. Thats fucking *brilliant*.

The "I say, I say" imp is Wally Wackford, and he appears in mutiple episodes. Loo Loo land he sold inconvenient torches, in Harvest Moon (when we meet striker) he is the games announcer, he is in the Cherubs episode, in Ozzie's he was there as a bar tender, and now back here.

"2 Minutes Notice" Isn't just my favorite hb song. Its one of my favorite songs period!

Kinda happy Blitz didn’t shoot the guy. He saw fizz having a panic attack and the sight of blood would’ve made things worse for Fizzy. Remember, in the circus episode we learned that Fizz is disgusted by blood. So I’m glad Blitzø decided not to shoot the creep while Fizz was clearly not doing well. Another fun fact, usually every sin we’ve seen so far sings their own song, but Fizz sang a song about how bad and abusive Mammon is. Clearly showing how lazy Mammon is lmao. Also the deaf kid’s name is confirmed to be Oliver.

The fact the clown white color of Fizz is so much more heart breaking when you realize scar tissue on Imps are white. It’s because he’s scarred inside and out all over. I love how the healthiest relationship we’ve seen in this universe is still Fizz and Ozzy with Charlie and Vaggie being a a close second .

Which is amazing how far they came since in S1E7 they completely didn’t believe in love and gave Moxxie a hard time over singing a love song for Millie. Now they do believe in love too even if that meant being called a hypocrite for it (they kinda were at least at first). Now Ozzie even loves Frizz enough to risk losing his deadly sin status over it.

@@happypasta6 there are multiple hints that Fizz and Ozz go deeper than they let on in that episode though. They're making a big public show of being against love, but it's more to maintain Ozzie's status than because it's what they actually believe. Edit: it's also probably more because Moxxie picked what is pretty clearly a sex club to sing his love song, rather than finding an open mic night at a more suitable venue.

i just love that the sin of lust is the most lovavle sin of them all and refuses anything that is forced

One thing I found really interesting about the whole final act bit- the Glam sisters just have a dance number, while Fizz actually incorporates clown acts into his final number. I don't think it was just that Mammon wanted to keep his face around- I think he legitimately had a good act.

I love seeing the sins transform into their bigger forms, even Beelzebub does it in the S1 Finale

I love the look Ozzie gives Blitzø at the end he’s not annoyed like Fizz he seems to have actually liked the question of who tops

It’s implied that imps need their horns to hear properly, so Fizz was probably also deaf/hard-of-hearing after the accident and learned asl before getting his hearing repaired

@@SevenQs Sure, but Fizz STILL has broken horns and he isn't deaf. So if he needed his horns to hear, he should still be deaf because he still doesn't have horns. And we do see that he has robot limbs, but we don't ever see him use a hearing aid. I can believe that Fizz was hard of hearing for a period, but I feel like the explosion right next to his face is a more likely explanation.

Season 2b and 3a of Helluva Boss will probably be out before Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel. I kind of heard plans for 3 seasons of Hazbin and 4 of Helluva, which would put the endings about the same time.

Such a fantastic episode. You were talking about how amazing the frames where Ozzie appears to defend Fizz are - my favorite detail is that Mammon's sigil behind Fizz changes to Asmodeus' sigil in the instant before he appears.

56:26 He's been in so many episodes it's absurd. In the first season he was a salesman in episode 2, he promoted a project to welcome inventors and live off their work in episode 4, he was the presenter of the harvest games in episode 5 and he was present at Ozzy's in episode 7. There are many background characters that appear in several episodes, but this is the only one that always has speech, so it's more perceptive.

I can’t get over one of the cutest jokes in the episode is a boner joke, Ozzie peaking out while fizz sings and then hiding himself is so funny

Fizz is just so adorable. It's impossible not to like him, I swear. Alex Brightman is such a good voice actor and singer too. He really brings Fizz to life in the best way.

I'm not big on react channels, lots of people tend to overreact or talk too much over scenes. React stuff has always popped up on my tiktok being an anime and kpop lover and when Hazbin came out and I finally watched it, reactions to it did kind of inundated. I initially just watched the small clip and moved on but you kept popping up and I just loved your reactions so I came here to watch you react to Hazbin fully and loved it. Then tiktok showed me you were reacting to Helluva and I immediately went to youtube and it's been so fun, like showing a friend a show I really love and waiting to see their reactions and what they spot which I don't get to do with friends. I subscribed when you watched the last episode of Season 1. I can't wait to see more!

56:23 Wally Wackford appears in several episodes in Helluva Boss. We saw him the first time in the second episode of season 1. He was working at Loo Loo Land and sold burning torches. After that we saw him in episode 4. He was the commercial guy that was looking for smart sinners or demons that he wanted to work with. Later he hosted the Harvest Moon Festival and he worked as a bartender at Ozzy's. Btw. he is the kid at 15:47 that Mammon took out of the crowd.

There is a theory that Wally Wackford the "I say I say" guy is actually a surprise upcoming villain in the show, which if you think about it makes sense. He was also in the circus fire, he was there when Mammon first did the clown pageant and attends it ever since, he clearly is just like Mammon in the sense of exploiting upcoming inventors, as seen in Episode 4, he was there at the Harvest Moon festival, he was there with lit torches, causing Loo Loo Land to burn down, he was at Ozzie's, helping emphasize Stolas sleeping with Blitz and essentially contributing to the downfall of their relationship, and he was here at Mammon's 10th pageant, and likely attended the rest as well. Really makes you wonder how close to Mammon he may be as well, and how powerful he really is if he too is employing sinners, just like an Overlord would. And if anyone wants to say he is a hellborn imp and can't be an Overlord, Rosie is/was canonically hellborn, meaning the hellborn can be Overlords, its just harder.

Wally Wackford was in LooLoo Land, CHERUB (the commercial guy), Harvest Moon (he MC-d the festival, and Ozzie's (as a bartender).

When Ozzie finally appears on stage, Mammon''s background sigil changes to Ozzie's. So glad you enjoyed this episode! Fizz''s final song (Two Minute Warning) came out when I was ready to walk out of my job the same day the ep dropped because of the BS happening. I am still there (planning to retire from under their noses) and this song reminds me I can leave at any time. It is a power anthem. FYI: Brandon and Bryce leaked Blitzø and Stolas will be doing an upcoming duet in a future episode.

Both the boy and Fizz have broken horns. Fizz may have gone deaf or experienced hearing difficulties after his accident before getting an implant or naturally recovering his hearing.

Re the videos blowing up: I think it helps that you're a great reactor (?). Personally I found your reaction videos have a good balance between reacting, pausing, and comments, not to mention your cat's guest appearance. Great job!

Not sure if this is how it works for everyone, but when a video is paused you can press the keys to click through frame-by-frame, if you wanna see small details and can't pause at the right time. Enjoyed the commentary and just picked up on when Blitz shoots the stalker the hole is a heart. I hat noticed that before but not the bullet striking the Mammon mirror behind them breaking it in half personifying the whole love freeing him from slavery.

I don't think it's confirmed, but there seems to be a correlation between damage to an imp's horns and damage to their hearing. Fizz has broken horns and knows sign language, and the child has a broken horn as well. It's a neat little background detail if it's true, kinda like the trans imp in this episode.

@@morfy42 Well we were told that he couldn't speak for a while following the explosion, and as we haven't had anything to my knowledge that talks about imp horns having to do with hearing it just seems more likely. Not saying that the theory is wrong. It just seems more likely that the obvious is true rather than the theoretical.

This is just such a deep episode. So much character growth here. Near the end of this I alway's think the following. Up there on the stage alone with Mam, Fizzs chance of living is less then 1%. After Ozzy appears, Fizzs chance of living automatically jumps to 100%. And when it comes to names I'm not sure when to add the 's on. So did I get it right with Fizzs or should it have been Fizz's.

The announcer during the competition is Tom Cardy, he aslo did the Red Flags song
