When I moved back to the US after living in Korea I experienced reverse culture shock . I felt like it was so loud and chaotic everywhere I went 😂

I did! Coming back from The Phillippines AND Korea, and returning to back home to Chicago! Though, I LOVED the culture and experience in Korea, being in The Phillippines is a whole lot diffrerent! There's a lot to do in Chicago all year round, but you get more to see during the sunmmertime!

OMG Chicago is so beautiful!!!! Love the fall vibes too🍁 I totally agree with the reverse culture shock of random people talking to you 😆 I am so used to minding my own business and not talking to anyone in Korea that when I go back home to Italy I am so shocked when strangers talk to me saying the most random things 😅

My local coffee shop has a drink called sweater weather. It contains brown sugar cinnamon, short bread, and salted caramel. That may seem like too many flavors but it's delicious. Whenever I don't want a coffee my go to drink is matcha with white mocha.

Ahhhh the tipping is always hard to get used to… I am always happy to tip for a nice meal out but It’s a bit overwhelming to be asked to tip on something like a cup of coffee that took them two seconds to pour🥲 very mixed opinions lol

@adriennehilll is it really true korea is more affordable to live than America? I know food is pretty cheap in korea. But I heard there is two ways of paying rent in korea one is put down A LOT (10k) of money down for rent but monthly is gets cheaper. Second is the normal way to pay rent but it's more expensive.

She was just talking about a mild cultural difference and she is a blogger who seeks out such light issues to entertain or inform people. I find it strange that you take someone else's words so seriously. She was probably born in the United States and was an American for generations. She will love America more than you.
