Hello Moscow | Visiting with Huell Howser | KCET

Ойын-сауық

In this special one-hour episode taped on a camcorder in 1990 and 1991, Huell goes behind the Iron Curtain to visit the charismatic people of Moscow during a very exciting time in Russian history. See the largest outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by snow, where people swim in the heart of winter; visit an outdoor pet market with beautiful Russian dogs and cats; a gym, record store and even a barber shop. On a second trip, Huell records the aftermath of the attempted coup: See graffiti on the Russian White House and the pedestal where Lenin's statue once stood. Witness the dawning of a new political era and the excitement of the people of Russia!

No bias, no political nonsense, no propaganda. Just the way I like it! Unlike US based TV docu/series about Russia nowadays...

Any time when I watch all valuable Videos which had made by Sir Huell Howser, I have few minute silence to Pray for him. Without him we cannot have such best time to learn from what he shared to public viewers. The more we travel, the more we love Gold of California, USA. In God We Trust ! May God Bless Youths' Dreams in Russia come true.

This was a delightful show. I just love Huell Howser and miss him. He brought a lot of joy to the world. Ever since I learned of what Russia actually did as our ally against Hitler, how heroically they fought for so many years with more than 20 million dead in WWII, I started researching the Russian people. Most of the Russians are very down to earth and have a great exuberance for life. Big hearted, generous good people. They want to come to America but I would love to tour Russia. It's a huge country. I guess the language of commerce in the world is English but I'd love to learn Russian.

Not anymore. If they are supporting the war in Ukraine they aren't great people. The great people are speaking out or subverting Russias war.
