6 years and still not a single downvote on the video, god bless Huell Howser
Huell Howser was a treasure. We were lucky to have him as long as we did.

Unfortunately im just discovering what a guy he was and what a great show he had. Never paid attention to it as a kid but i fondly remember my uncles watching and thinking they were nerds watching something so boring!

@@HAMMER_2.2 I first came across him about 20 years ago, switching channels and it was the chocolate milk dairy, I knew that place, I grew up in Montebello and remember when it even had a pasture of cows. I was hooked, I think the next episode was something like the lint lady, I thought, doesn't sound interesting... I was hooked. Even though Ive watched him so long and spent covid trying to watch every episode I could find... Not one bad episode. Never though eh, this episode wasn't up to bar. And what a talent to be able to interview people so long, keep it interesting and no cuts or much editing. Real loss losing him, but we have lots to look back at.

What a beautiful and earthy guy!
How cool for the rock owner to get the full field trip and experience everything involved.

the old man was so charming, wish he got his own show
After 8 years of upload this video is still inspirational. Huell, was very smart to take the opportunity of the rock as a case and knock the door of JPL to show for the public whats going on at behind closed doors. The scientists were eager to show to the public the capablities of their facility. I was surrprised by the intellegence of petter. I often encounter such rocks when ever I try to split sedimentary rocks. It is very common for metamorphic rocks to be jacketed by sedimentary rocks and get very hard and dense through time. Very educational video.
Huell Howser Really Cared❤
Huell!! I was a sophomore at UCSB at this time. Had I known this was going on up the street I would have gone to check it out!! RIP sir.
Absolutley, amazing! Educational, as well. Thank you, so much. Fr: Chatsworth, CA, USA.

awesome!
Wonder if Luis took a moment to consider filming himself in the air shower..... What a wonderful, informed, curious, inviting bunch at JPL in those days.

Good ol USA,.
Pete may be more wholesome than Huell in this episode, but it's a close call.
