Even money my dollar says it comes back again before a full human generation elapses. They probably have the reboot already sketched out. No CEO worth their salt would actually kill one of the most iconic brands on the planet except to plan a relaunch.

Dont be so sure. Of course they expect us to think that. If they were smart they would launch a new line similar too the beetle and call it the new punch buggy or something. If you try to hard to predict a persons actions, youll be dead wrong in the end. Im sure they have something up their sleeve. Or maybe not. Maybe the sales of beetles are dipping, and they decides to use killing the line as a way to promote bumble bee, allowing them to make just a little more cash out of the line before they drop it fully. Theres always the chance the car just isnt appealing anymore

Come on man, this is horrible news! Why is Bumblebee dancing! This is the death of an iconic car! Why would he be happy! Plus his movie is set in the 80's or something. Back when the beetles would still be in production! This movie is just going to be a time machine to remind future generations of the once great beetle. Damn, how can we save the beetle? It's been around since the 30's and there's something we must do.
