Over several visits to South Yorkshire I’ve tried to get the aging TM Travel decker fleet done for ride and one thing I massively wanted was this rare machine in the form of ex First Glasgow & Brightbus Volvo B7L with East Lancs Nordic bodywork 1170 TM52 BUS ( SA52 DWC ) and several times I missed it on routes such as the 218 and 252 which it commonly served. However I didn’t expect for it to drop on a route I normally see Optare Solo buses working. So here it is one night back in February 2023 working Route 30A out of Sheffield City Centre towards Beighton & Crystal Peaks Bus Station. I certainly wish I’d got the chance to sample more of these rare B7L deckers as this was absolutely hellfire. This vehicle has unfortunately now been withdrawn from the fleet.
