  I'm from Burnley. Really a shame we had to let the Renowns go (considering the replacements we had for them). We had 1201 (MAN Enviro 200) get withdrawn about a month or two ago as well. Enviro 200s came in from Rosso, but they're still loud, shaky, and slow so bad move really. Blackburn's Renowns are still (thankfully) going strong only until June 15th/16th, when they will be using as many Renowns as possible on their Valleyline service. Then, once Blackburn disposed of their Renowns, the good era of Transdev will truly actually end.

  Yes true forgot about those. Although both them and the Blackburn ones are on pretty demanding routes. It’s come at a surprise they’ve got these with the only routes you’d think they’d need them for are probably the 126 and 132, the other routes would cope fine with 4 Cylinder. Last few weeks I’ve checked the 151 it’s been the smaller 73 plates on it so this was a nice catch!

  These have a "0" in the model number rather than "O", one of the larger engines they built was D2066 which I have seen in a Wright Meridian.

  I wonder if the power units and the traction motors as well as the CPU would fit into a Class 60 shell? Might be worth it for Brush and GE to try out on the DCR Class 60's. Great video by the way.

  I like locomotive with engine sound.Teese old class 20, 50 and 37 locos ve tis distinctive sweet engine melody tat makes it a true diesel.Nowa days even diesel-elect.like EMD or GE doesnt produce engine sound and is too quiet 4 my liking.

  This bus was originally delivered in the Airlink livery and entered service on the Edinburgh Airport 100 service. A few years later, 548 was repainted in the normal Lothian fleet livery (simplified harlequin livery) with green route branding for service 35 (Ocean Terminal - Edinburgh Airport) and was also re-registered as LSK 548 for a few years before regaining its original registration.

  Was 3 out on Tuesday then all stood down by Wednesday. Rumour has it some could be going to join the Herts & Essex fleet but we shall see.
