@@TheRedKing Technically FTL is impossible. But a theoretically possible Warp Drive does exist. It just... needs the power of a star to make the warp... per warp... per drive. So yeah, theoretically possible now, and practically possible when humanity can shrink and capture stars.

Because then you can essentially do it through a half alcubierre Star Trek warp, half mass effect drive system, where by changing the mass of your ship to zero or negative mass, you can travel at or beyond light speed // option 2: change your mass at the front and rear of the ship to cause space to contract and expand

Starship troopers does not count, therefore, although it does seem helkdivers fits the bill based on this lore video
